The only thing that is missing is a three plug instead of two. Extra devices has to be plugged in wall showing the cords. Make sure to get the longest hdmi cord!

One thing I found to help get the cables down to the outlet below was to tie something small but heavy to a string and dangler it down (iused some washers). Then tie to the string your hdmi cable or whatever you want to feed through down the inside of the wall. Then just pull it through. Repeat until all your cables are through. Great product, TVs look super clean now.

Used but Excellent Value and Functions Flawlessly

It helps hide the cables behind my Sony Bravia HD TV. The TV actually looks like it's floating in the air. I bought it used and got a discount. No difference in performance. Box was a bit beat up from shipping but the item looked good. You can drop all your HDMI cables behind the TV and the power cord is easy to plug into the slots. Geek Squad installed everything including the TV and sound bar. Looks amazing.

Sorry to hear the product was larger than you expected — we understand how frustrating that can be once you start the install. This recessed power kit does require a deeper wall cavity to safely house the power and low-voltage connections.
The dimensions are listed on the product page, but here they are for reference:
Top recessed box: approximately 8" tall × 6.25" wide
Bottom outlet opening: approximately 4.69" tall × 2.94" wide
Because of its size, this kit isn’t a good fit for shallow walls or tight stud bays. In those cases, a surface-mounted cable management option is usually a better solution.
