    Only way to go when installing a new flat screen TV on the wall. Enables you to hide all the wires fished down the wall with the power box behind the TV and bring them out at or near the baseboard. Check it out for clean installation.

    Was unaware of this product until our initial install pre-appointment. Geek Squad told me what it was, explained it very well and told me what to order and they would pick it up when they picked up my tv for install. Fabulous...no wires!

    This is a great kit. It gives you all you need besides a few hand tools. Directions are spot on and it gives you all the templates for cutting the holes. I was super nervous about putting holes in the wall behind the TV but so glad I did. All the cables are now going through the wall for a nice clean look.

    This system is great for hiding those blasted cables. The only downside is caused by the TV manufacturers. I upgraded TVs and the cable connections for this TV are on the opposite side as the last TV. Then you have the choice of having to buy extra long cables or cut new holes and have to deal with the old hole. Of course if you get the 75 inch television, who cares about the hole in the wall behind it.

    I got this Legrand kit to hide cables with Sony 55" X90J that is mounted to a Sony SU-WL855. Long story short, the Legrand kit is actually pretty large. With my setup, the bottom of the top unit would have been visible from the base of the TV for about a 1/4 inch. The base of the Sony TV mount is 12", the Legrand box is 8" tall. It just barely clears the base of the TV, but would be visible enough. The whole point of this type of product is to hide the visible wires, including the box that's hiding the wires. It's probably a decent enough kit, but you need to take into consideration the size of your TV in relation to the mount you're using. If I had a 65" TV with the same mount, this would have worked well. For 55" TVs and smaller, I'd consider other options. Realistically, you probably don't need 2 outlets behind the TV. Sadly, I'll be returning this unit for something smaller so that it won't be visible.
