Very important you check local building codes to be sure it is permitted in your area. I did have to get an electrical permit and an inspection after installation. Geek Squad were not able to install it for me due to building code but it was easy to put this in myself.

Just remember if you get a sound bar the wires may need to longer than the factory provides sound bars to reach the tv unless you go wireless connection. Sound is better with direct hook up though m

It’s nice to not have to look at any wires hanging down from the TV mounted on the wall. The TV set up on the wall would not be the same without the kit. I’ve had this kit since February 2019. I plan to get another kit to mount my TV in my bedroom

The Geek Squad installed it in about 20 minutes with all TV, Sound Bar, Cable, DVR, and ROKU cables in the wall. Provides a nice clean look.

Looks great and no cords exposed!

In fact, I liked it so much I bought another two for my other two TVs in the house to do those as well . . . I did give it 4 out of 5 starts just because I did feel like it was pretty expensive for what it was - $100 for a couple of plastic boxes/romex seems to be a bit much - this should more like $40 at most.

The instructions are very clear and the ease of use is incredible. NOTE when installing on an exterior wall, you will have to fight with the insulation. Not a huge deal, but feeding wire from top to bottom required me to use a 7' long piece of cardboard to guide them.

I did not know it had to be added to the service when I requested the tv and soundbar to be mounted. Best Buy should incorporate a pop-up message so customers know it needs to be added as a service.

Semi cord-free product

It does do a great job of allowing you to hide your cords by dropping them behind the wall, but the product itself has to be plugged in nearby. The actual cord of this product is also quite long, so you'll need to bundle and tie together to minimize loose cording.
