It would be easier and quicker to build your own enclosure. The opening for the junction box was too large for the recommended box and receptacle. The tiny Velcro straps provided are useless. I didn’t use the mounting box since it was easier to attach larger 2-sided Velcro strips. The frame provided makes the TV (The Frame) sit proud of the wall slightly so I removed it.

This Item Can Not be Installed by Best Buy or The Geek Squad, Need an Electician After it’s Installed Which Cost $229 on Top of The Electrician. Complete Waste of Time and Money.

This in-wall box is designed for situations where an outlet can be run inside the wall, which often requires a licensed electrician if one isn’t already in place. We understand that can add to the cost and frustration, especially if this wasn’t clear before purchase.

Geek squad not comfortable setting up and did not install. Rescheduled with a more competent team but the days available are limited for assembly and set up

Seemed unnecessary. The salesperson told me how much I would absolutely need this product. It was not needed. It actually would have been a huge problem to cut a whole in the wall. I returned it.

A great box to hide all of your inputs and outputs behind the television. It is deep enough to handle all of the wires for my television and audio system.

The design needs a little tweaking. It barely fit between the studs and it caused issues with the covers fitting back on.
Return Policy at Best Buy sketchy using Geek Squad

Bought a TV and Geek Squad installation. They arrive and say they can't install without box to avoid voiding the mfg warranty. So they tell us to buy this box and have it installed and call them back. After trying for a month to get an electrician out I gave up and put the tv on the stand rather than wall. Now Best Buy refuses return of the Sanus wall box I can't use. A waste of $$$$$$$$. Last time I use Best Buy for any purchases.
