Be Warned: Does Not Work

I don't know how the people posting 5 star reviewer got this thing to work unless they are just bots. Maybe it works on other computers. On a MacBook, forget it. The only port that works is the card reader. Every other port does not provide enough power to operate external drives AND if the external drive has a power supply of its own it also does not work. I wasted time on trying to make this and also a Belkin reader work with my external devices. No luck with either. This should be a simple plug and perform device. It is not. Do not waste your money.

Doesn't function as it should

I selected this specific device at the suggestion of an Apple employee. It took a while to arrive and then I've found that it doesn't make a secure coupling with the MacBook. It's annoying but I've found a work-around, but for the first week or so I thought one of my devices wasn't working with the Mac.

Excellent Way to overcome MacBook's lack of ports
