I liked this movie although it was extremely violent at times. I thought the plot was surprising at a couple of points in the story which is why I gave it a higher than average rating.

I had seen this movie a while ago and I had to include it in my collection when I saw it on Bluray at a great price. It's a fast moving movie which I know you will enjoy

Great Oliver Stone movie about 3 potheads who get mixed up with the cartel. Cops, chronic and carnage. Love Benitio in this movie. The scene with the landscaping crew is priceless and worth admission.

this movie is good overall but tends to move all over the place in terms of story line. Selma Hayack is sexy as always and Travolta continues to prove he can play any role.

Savages is great until the very end. Oliver Stone chooses to offer an alternate ending that is actually better than the real ending, and in doing so, messes up the movie.

What a great movie. If you're looking for a movie that brings together both American and Mexican actors in a full on druglords war, this is the best (as well as seeing Blake lively) movie to pick. Great cast and great story.

I was hoping this would be a great movie, as I had seen the previews and it looked interesting and different. The plot itself was pretty good, but the Salma Hayek character was at times too friendly and it made the ruthless parts of that character less believable. I know other movie villains also have balanced friendly/charming and ruthless, but this one didn't hold up. I think of the Anthony Quinn character in Revenge, for how much more menacing and vindictive a 'bad guy' could be.

If you are not into blood, then i would not recommend this. The Mexican cartel is trying to overtake a small pot grower's business in California. Blake Lively is exceptional in this and Benecio Del Toro is gruesome!

Good entertainment for everyone. We enjoy all the movies. I recommend to everyone who likes the movies action.

It's not by far Oliver Stone's best work; yet, it's a gritty, grimy, great film! Plenty of violence and profanity. All the things that keep you interested.

Pros : Blu-ray combo was $9.99 with dvd. Story-line, subject material and realism is top notch. Slip Cover included :) Great Soundtrack Cons : Lengthy in parts. Blake was a good choice but a little PG for this film.

Great movie must watch and with the price I paid $5 it is a great addition to my collection Worth seeing more than once Edge of your seat action and a great story Blake lively is great!

Even though I have been occupied every time I watch this movie the pieces I have caught has been nice. Cant wait to see it from start to finish

It doesn't get much better than this in terms of talent presenting a very dark side of the American-Mexican experience. Stone's films make us ponder our present, our priorities & our future.

The movie was everything I hoped it would be and more! It was so suspenseful during the whole movie. I never knew who was going to get caught or shot. Definitely a must to watch.

Was a good performance from some some up and coming actors. Wish it had a little more of John Travolta but still worth a watch.

First watched the movie on red box but was so good that I had to get it when I saw it was on sale here! Great deal for what I paid for.
