It was a very good film. Wonderfully acted by Tom Hanks, Emma Thompson, Colin Farrell, Jason Schwatzman, and the rest of the cast. The residents at my retirement home enjoyed watching it.

Not a bad companion piece to Mary Poppins in seeing a peek at the life of the writer of Mary Poppins. Obviously, some liberties were probably taken for the sake of great storytelling, but overall, it is an interesting movie.

Huge Disney fan. Went into this movie thinking it was a comedy. Though it certainly had its dramatic moments, it was exactly what I would have hoped for in a Disney movie. Great story. And the actors were flawless!!!

Saving Mr. Banks is one of the best films I have ever seen. It is a travesty Emma Thompson was not awarded an Oscar for her role in the film. It presents a fascinating story superbly told. No one should miss it.

When I first saw this movie I was expecting something funny, witty, cute. I wasn't expecting such a serious drama. Excellent motion picture! Emma Thompson is brilliant! A must see and a must buy DVD!

Outstanding acting makes this recreation of the actual events surrounding Walt Disney and his company securing the rights to film P.L Travers' classic novel --- "Mary Poppins". Emma Thompson as Travers and Tom Hanks as Walt Disney should have clearly received Oscar nods for their work here.

This is a unique view on a Disney story. Like the digital copy as well. Bluray and digital copy are a great way to see this movie. The price can be a little high at Beet Buy but when you want it you buy it.

Tom Hanks, Emma Thompson, Collin Farrell and the whole cast give an incredible performance and the movie is very heartwarming and a film the whole family can enjoy.

This is a must see movie! Love having it on dvd and blu-ray....plus get the code to put on my ipad! Recommend to watch this movie since it is well done and had amazing talent from the actors and actresses.

What a pleasant and wonderful film that pays tribute to the story of how "Mary Poppins" came to be. A terrific script and incredible acting made for an enjoyable and heartwarming evening of entertainment.

Tom hanks is excellent as Walt Disney in this classic story telling of Mary Poppins. It's a different take on the story of one of the most beloved characters in Disney history. Not a film for children.

It was interesting to know the long journey behind the motion picture show. There was a glimpse of the blended view of the author's father and that of Mr. Disney's which proved to be very interesting.
