7 films for less than the price of 1 normal Blu-Ray, including the first release of the original SAW in its Un-Rated form, how can you beat it? It's true that all the special features from the individual releases are no present on this set but it does include UltraViolet Digital Copies of each film which the original releases did not include. The Digital Copies almost make this set worth it immediately. The picture and audio quality of all the films is on par with the individual releases, no need to worry about compression due to all the films being put on 3 discs. This is the most affordable value to get all the SAW films and prepare you for the upcoming SAW VIII.

I haven't watched them all so I can only give 3 stars. But the ones I have watched are something very different, which I like. I mean you get all of the movies except Jigsaw for $12! You definitely can't beat that. But if you like gore, this is definitely for you.

This set is the entire Saw franchise shoved onto three blu-rays. I haven't looked at the specs, but I'm sure they're just 25 GB discs instead of 50 GB. I could be wrong. If you're adamant about having the best quality blu-ray copy, you're likely going to want to go with individual disc release. I'm sure these are much more compressed, although I have no room for comparison since I don't own any of the individual releases. The real deal here is that Digital HD code. You'd be looking at close to $100 if you bought each film on Vudu for example. This code pops the entire franchise (unrated versions) into your account, all for less than the average price of one of the films alone in Digital HD. Giving this four stars instead of five simply for the cost cutting compressing of way too many films onto 3 discs.

These movies are not for everybody. The traps and stuff were always creative and curious to see. The story kept getting convoluted as they went along but it was kind of fun trying to keep up and piece the mystery together of who was good and bad.

I understand that the title of this review has the word 'horror' in it, but that's only due to the fact that every major retail store labels this movie series as so. In reality, it's more of a suspenseful thriller than anything. If anyone would like to believe otherwise, then I'll go as far to admit that any existing horror would have to go to the thought of someone(s) being able to visualize and then create the traps within these films. However, whether one labels it as horror or as anything else, one valuable fact is certain; these movies are worth anyone's time and pay. A definite must buy.
