When I saw this product I assumed it was going to be one f those items that were thrown together to make some extra money- I loathe those compilation dvds where they throw movies together that have nothing in common except for their studio. This was packaged well and is a definite steal for the price- all of the first seven movies are on it. You will only need to purchase "Jigsaw" when it's released to have the complete series- that is, unless they make another sequel, which is highly likely. I would recommend this to any fan of the series.

well its the collection of all 7 movies but it on 3 disks so that pretty stupid but movie wise i could deffiantly sit down and watch them all day if im in the mood for a good thriller but if not then ill never watch the movies since i bought them ive watched one movie out of the 7 once dont regret buying it just because its the full collection and i like collecting series but just wish they were all on seprate disks but i guess for the price it wasnt bad since it was 7 movies i would most deffiantly if we were at the store and seen this collection then i would deffiantly recommend this to a friend which actually i did and the only reason they didnt get it cause they already owned the collection

First of all you have to have the constitution for raw violence. Gross violence. If you do, there are many interesting plot twists within the core. The first one had the best and grabbed my attention. For a horror film, it was-different. The violence was not based on hatred or revenge. It centers on teaching evil people a lesson by making choices. I do not want to ruin the story, so 'nuff said. I also like Mark Wahlberg, Elwes and Shawnee Smith. I stuck with it to the end. Gross, but kept my interest.

Saw 1 is one of the greatest Horror/Drama/Suspense movies one could ask for. The plot of the movie all the way to the end is enough to watch it. After Saw 1, the movies are decent, but never match the first. Still highly recommended! As far as this blu ray collection, well the price is very nice. For under $15 you get all 7 films. The bad news is, all 7 films are crammed onto 3 blu ray discs. Saw 1-2 on 1 disc, Saw 3,4,5 on the second disc, and Saw 6&7 on the last disc. If lionsgate did this release right, and had 1 disc per movie, included the 3D version of the last movie, & the extended cuts of the movies, this would be the perfect collection. If none of that matters to you, then this is the release to get!

The Saw franchise is exceptional in producing surprise endings built on clues throughout the films, that are provided to the viewer, then dropped on you if complete surprise, and no franchise since has done it better then the Saw franchise. This collection is a good start for anyone that loved all 7 movies, and at a great price. This collection is also unrated, so you get all the films in their unrated forms, not the theatrical versions, so beware of that.

As a lifelong horror fan, I tend to find most modern horror NOT to my liking. The 1st SAW flick must get its due, however, as it was one of the horror films that got the genre back on the map for the 21st century. That said, I think it gets worse every time I watch it. However! I find the rest of the series thoroughly entertaining. By maybe the 5th film the franchise has essentially become a gory soap opera with more flashbacks within flashbacks than can be gotten straight, but it certainly serves to string you along. This set is perfect because it's decently priced, only takes up one spot on my shelf AND includes the digital copies for all the movies.

Never would I have imagine that ANY movie series would draw me in on EVERY installment. The SAW series did just that! Leaving unanswered questions in each movie to either be answered in the next movie, or pile on the intrigue. Right down to FINAL-FINAL scene! If you have the tolerance for brutal violence and gore, pleasantly packaged together as a movie series with great moments and plot twist( which hands down, this series has in regards to its own merit) then go for Saw: The Complete Series!!!

It's a good collection of all the Saw movies (well, the first seven at least, since there's another one coming out later this year), but I'm taking a star off because there are no special features on any of the discs. There aren't even any scene selections. :( However, the digital copies for each of the movies (the collection comes with digital codes for all the movies) has special features. As to why all of the special features are online only but not on the discs, I have no idea! I guess it's better than no special features at all though. :) If you're a sicko like me, then you'll love the Saw movies! Haha!

Great that they finally decided to come out with a complete collection of a horror series of movies in one pack. It's missing the jigsaw movie that recently came out but overall it's awesome that they put together a complete collection of a horror saga, assuming at the time jigsaw had yet to be released. Great price for them too. They should do the same for all the Friday the 13th movies, nightmare on elm street movies, etc.

I won't review all these films but I will say if you take these as a mini-series of sorts you really get a serious bargain. If you enjoy this type of crime/mystery horror style film making you could do a lot worse than these. Saw and its sequels should go down in film history as a sadistic horror with a brain. Not too many of those going around. Only down side is the lack of special features but with great full HD film presentation this set is a steal!

Not exactly what I wished for. After patiently waiting for a box set of one of my favorite horror franchises, I get a halfway-reward. Instead of a box set, you get seven films on three discs. If you're all about convenience and storage space, this is perfect for you. However, if you're a collector who's very particular, I would wait. For big SAW fans, it's a pretty good buy. All seven films, plus their digital copies, for 19.99 or 24.99. I wouldn't spend more - the cost was low enough that I won't feel guilty about buying a REAL box set, with seven discs (and hopefully some good bonus material) if it's ever released.

$12 for every Saw film...even if you hated some, or most of them, getting the entire collection is worth that low price. Don't look for many special features or astounding audio, and most of the film's aren't something to watch while showing off your new 4k tv, but it's a cheap way to have the collection that won't take up much space on the shelf...and let's be honest I doubt anyone randomly goes "Man I feel like watching Saw 5 tonight!" Really it's for the 1 time we'll watch all these before seeing the new one this Halloween (2017)

Ever since seeing the very first Saw movie I have been hooked. When they were making them I couldn't wait to see the next one. Definitely highly recommended if you are a Horror/Thriller type movie fan. I own them on DVD and when I saw them on Blu-Ray in a set I said "MUST BUY!" This Blu-Ray set includes the first Seven Saw Movies. Can't wait for Saw: Legacy (Saw 8) to come out this fall 2017 at the theaters. :)

Cool set if you're wanting to buy as a casual movie night item. The quality isn't spectacular but it's more than adequate for the Saw movies. I'd recommend this set over the other one that has the latest movie because this one has the digital versions which is handy if you have more than one television or if you want to have a movie night at a friends house and they don't have a blu-ray player. Simply log into your movie service and you're good to go!

If you're a collector and you like the extras that come with buying individual discs, I wouldn't recommend this. But it's a great deal to own all of the films to review the story before the new one comes out this October. Saw is a load of fun in general. If you like modern Spanish Inquisition torture devices and riddles that make you question every word a character says, Saw is the franchise for you.

As a huge fan of the Saw franchise, i was so thrilled to pick this up onsale at $12. Not only do you get all the movies in "unrated" version format, you get the whole collection on HD Digital too! So worth the money to me!! I already got rid of all my individual films and made a lot of extra space on my shelf! Its a great franchise and highly recommend it!

This Blu-Ray set has the first seven SAW films spread across three discs in addition to a Digital HD code for the films. I'll be honest, I only bought the set because it was on sale. Having purchased the original Blu-Ray releases of these films, I strictly bought this for the Digital code so I could add the films to my VUDU library. Despite purchasing the set only for the Digital HD code, I did check out the content of the discs. Picture and sound quality are fine. They are very similar, if not identical to their original releases. It's great to have these films in one collection, but I think the deal breaker here is the bonus features. None of the bonus features from the films original home video releases are included here, most likely due to the fact that they squeezed seven films on three discs and ran out of room. Should you choose to redeem your Digital HD code, a selection of featurettes become available, but you still miss out on lots. Overall, the set is good if you just care about the films themselves or want a cheap way to add the digital versions of these movies to your VUDU library. It would be nice to someday get a set that contains the theatrical AND unrated versions of each film (plus the Director's Cut for Saw III), in addition to the previously released bonus features. Maybe with the home video release of the eighth film JIGSAW. Bottom line - buy this set if you don't already have the films on Blu-Ray and don't care about bonus features.

My wife and daughter love to watch scary/horror movies. We picked up this collection recently, as neither my wife nor I have seen all of the movies. We binged watched them all over the course of the weekend. I would never have gotten all the movies separately as they were coming out on their own, but as a collection these are great.

If you enjoy edge of your seat psychological thrillers then this collection is for you. Although the movies seem to not be as good the farther you get from the original (as with most anthologies) - the plot has enough twists and turns that you'll need to wear a seat belt (okay, maybe a bit too over the top - but nonetheless, you'll enjoy this collection for the price)

This release lacks special features, and lacks the better audio of some of the standalone releases, but it containes 7 movies in HD at an unbeatable price point. Many of the special features actually are included within the digital copies as well so it’s not as big of a loss if you don’t mind digital content. Recommended!
