Great value if you don't care about bonus features

This Blu-Ray set has the first seven SAW films spread across three discs in addition to a Digital HD code for the films. I'll be honest, I only bought the set because it was on sale. Having purchased the original Blu-Ray releases of these films, I strictly bought this for the Digital code so I could add the films to my VUDU library. Despite purchasing the set only for the Digital HD code, I did check out the content of the discs. Picture and sound quality are fine. They are very similar, if not identical to their original releases. It's great to have these films in one collection, but I think the deal breaker here is the bonus features. None of the bonus features from the films original home video releases are included here, most likely due to the fact that they squeezed seven films on three discs and ran out of room. Should you choose to redeem your Digital HD code, a selection of featurettes become available, but you still miss out on lots. Overall, the set is good if you just care about the films themselves or want a cheap way to add the digital versions of these movies to your VUDU library. It would be nice to someday get a set that contains the theatrical AND unrated versions of each film (plus the Director's Cut for Saw III), in addition to the previously released bonus features. Maybe with the home video release of the eighth film JIGSAW. Bottom line - buy this set if you don't already have the films on Blu-Ray and don't care about bonus features.

I am definitely a fan of the Saw franchise, however all parts are definitely not my favorite. I feel like if you are a fan, one should definitely have the complete collection all under one slip sleeve. I don't feel like they actually took the time to re-master the movies for the bluray format. Some are still a bit grainy looking. I particularly like parts 1, 2, and 5 in general. I do feel like it's 'worthy' because outside of Freddy, Jason, and Michael Myers; this is really the only modern horror franchise to really grab movie watchers (even if for a little while) and actually keep people going back to the theaters for 7 straight Halloweens!

For the price You get all seven Saw films for 15 $15 - cheap! BUT they're also completely stripped bare of all bonus features. No, behind-the-scenes "making of", no commentary, nothing. If you want something very inexpensive to throw on at Halloween, or whatever, then fine. If you KIND OF liked one or two of the movies but haven't seen all 7 and don't want to spend a lot of money to do so, then this is a good set for you. If you're a completist, or a fan, then no - buy them separately. Would I recommend it to a friend? Probably not - I'd just loan them mine.

I thought I was getting a deal when you read the cover. Blu-Ray plus digital. You only get the first movie on digital, SAW. I was disappointed it was not all of the movies in digital. There is nothing on the cover or the back that says it’s only the one movie you will get as digital. Otherwise it’s a great deal to buy all movies on blu-ray. If you don’t care for digital then it’s a great buy

If it wasn't for the cheap price, I wouldn't have bought. Started to feel really "forced" after the first 3, especially the last 2 movies. Plus, 7 movies and no extras (that I could find)??? Lame. A lot of big SAW fans out there are going to be disappointed with this comp just because of that. Oh well, $13 and you can tell everyone you SAW all the movies...ok that was lame too. I've spent more on worse things so not a total loss.

If you're looking for the complete set of all the Unrated versions of the "Saw" movies, without all the bells & whistles. This is the go-to set. Hi-Def transfers of all 7 films with 5.1 surround audio. But NO bonus material whatsoever. Perfect for the person that just wants the movie. If you like Bonus Materials (like I do), buyer beware: There are NONE here.

All 7 Movies in this collection is a great buy, but be aware that is set Does Not include all the special features & commentaries that have been on different DVD & Blu-ray releases. A real collector of movies will want to chase those down, but if you're just wanting to watch the films & own the digital copies, then this set is for you.

For the price, this was an amazing package. But what hurts is that these arent truly high definition visuals. Some scenes seem to still be in the original aspect ratio and seem stretched or out of proportion. Also these movies havent necessarily aged well. For any horror buff, this was a steal at the price I got it ($15) but its definitely not something I would recommend for everyone.

I liked the first couple of Saw movies more than the others but wanted the set to have the whole "story". Because these are blu-ray picture quality is good but not great, however I'm very disappointed that the sound in not in HD just Dolby Digital...oh well. If I could go back and buy this set again, I wouldn't. I'd get the DVD set instead, unless it's the same price.

Horror movies are amazing and “Saw” is one of the best franchises in the genre. The picture and audio are flawless across all three discs. My only problem is that the code doesn’t work for the digital copies and I don’t know who to talk to in order to correct the problem. Other than that, solid purchase.

The studio took a good idea and milked it for seven movies. The first ones are of course the best, but the later ones have some fun traps which is the reason you're really watching the later movies in the first place.

I haven't watched them all so I can only give 3 stars. But the ones I have watched are something very different, which I like. I mean you get all of the movies except Jigsaw for $12! You definitely can't beat that. But if you like gore, this is definitely for you.

When I bought this collection it made fiscal sense. A 7 movie collection for the price of one was a decent buy. And it is worth it. While not every movie in this collection is a masterpiece, they all have their own entertainment value. An even still, if you are in the mood for a horror movie marathon, this is the way to go!

These movies are not for everybody. The traps and stuff were always creative and curious to see. The story kept getting convoluted as they went along but it was kind of fun trying to keep up and piece the mystery together of who was good and bad.

The Saw franchise is very hit or miss for most people. The first two movies are very well done and some of the rest can range from decent to bad. There are no extras included with this collection. The picture and sound quality are good for multiple movies on two discs.

This was a great price as a set--basically getting the entire film franchise for about the same price as a single movie. That said all the additional movies after the first one were mediocre to poor and thus not films I would normally purchase for my collection if they weren't in the set

Not really much to say , but if you like Saw and want to upgrade to the Blu Ray this is a great deal for all the previous movies, even has some bonus features if you're into those. I recommend if you're wanting the collection on blu ray

I think if I had suffered selective amnesia about these movies specifically I could once again enjoy them as I did the first time I saw them...movies are still good...but knowing the background story really kills the suspense now.

$9.99 for 7 movies and the digital copy, great deal! I haven't watched all of the movies yet but the original is still my favorite. The behind the scenes and making of features are pretty good.
