It's pretty simple in design...and is flawless provided you can tolerate the fairly permanent mounting on the dash. I tried other CD slot mounts and vent mounts...they all left me with nothing but frustration. This mount actually works. Bumpy roads, train tracks, touching the touch screen...nothing has caused an undesired dismount. LOVE IT. It's simple though...so, don't over pay. Do your homework. Great product, but, can be over priced.

I have this on top of my dashboard but it's very small so it's not in the way. I can turn it and angle it for me or the person in the passenger set. I use it mainly for hands free Spotify and GPS. Much easier to see from the dashboard as opposed to the cupholder where I had to keep my phone before. I've had it over a hear and it still works great. I though the adhesive would wear off but still anchored 15 months later.

I like this phone mount much better than the clip mount that I had before. The product comes with a variety of magnets to either stick to your phone or hide within the case. TAKE NOTE: I made the mistake of attaching the mount while my Suburban was in park. It was in the perfect position...until I shifted to drive and the gear shift covered part of the phone. Make sure you check to see what your phone will look like in different modes of gear shifting.

Perfect to keep my phone out of the way and yet able to use for gps. Good for charging as well, also easier then clipping it into a phone holder. A little overpriced for something so simple but i love it

I unabashedly slapped Scosche's magnet to the back of my new iPhone 7 and plugged in the charger That doubles as a pliable metal neck that comes off the charger that plugs into your car lighter, mine is pretty low from the dash. Scosche - Dash Mount coils up at a perfect angle, works terrific, magnets are the key here and this brand has the best that Best Buy offers. It's sturdy and you can bend the metal coil in any direction, easy-peasy, thank you guys,

The dash mount has a very strong magnet and holds my gps and cell phone in place even on unsurfaced roads. It comes with two magnets and for the price is the best car holder I have purchased

Works awesome as it takes up a small footprint and can lock it in at any angle. The adhesive is no good. I scraped off and cleaned then used a wide 3M command strip cut to size. Says it supports 5 lbs. It is solid and not going anywhere. Also put the magnet part in the inside of phone case and strong enough that phone has not slipped off while driving on rough roads.

I use this to hold my phone while driving. It allows for vertical or horizontal orientation. The magnet is strong enough that my phone has never fallen off when driving over bumps.

The magnet is very strong and holds the GPS in place. So you don't need to use the suction cup which adheres it to the windshield and leaves marks and also falls off in hot weather.

I needed a magnetic mount to put my phone on in car and this was perfect. Holds up fine, and does a great job. Best one I've ever used. Holds iPhone 6 Plus without any issues.

Buy it, it's exactly what I was looking for. Only con is the adhesive gave out in 1 month. I returned it and will put a heavy duty 2 sided tape on it if it happens again.

I mounted this on my dash high so that I can see the details at a glance without taking my eyes off the road. It is nice for switching radio stations etc.

Recently, the law changed in my state so that you can no longer hold your mobile phone in your hand, even at red light signals. I needed to be able to make calls and use my GPS but couldn't without risking the chance to get a very expensive ticket. I found this dash mount and thought I would give it a try. It works GREAT! Better than I thought it would. I attached it to my dash just to the right of my steering wheel for easy 1 finger touch on my phone's screen, if I need to. I can talk to text, talk to get directions, have my phone read out texts, all without actually having to touch my phone at all! The best part is I don't have to look down in my lap to see directions. I just have to glance toward my radio and there they are! This product is awesome for people that can't afford or don't want to install the newer stereos with the fancy dashboard. It is under $30 and super easy to install. Took less than a minute once I decided where I wanted to place it. It is adjustable, too, which is very helpful. I wish I had known about this product years ago!

I wanted something dash mounted with a strong magnet and not bulky. This does the job wonderfully. Been over a year and the adhesive is still holding.

A great, simple, and easy to use Dash Mount for your iPhone or any mobile device. Adjustable lock, that rotates and let you firmly lock into place, I highly recommend!

Not sure how it works but I'm keeping it and recommend this instead of the plastic clamp ones. The magnet on this is strong and keeps my phone in place, no hassle.

I've gone through several different mounting solutions for the GPS that I have in my car, and all of them have failed me in some way, shape or form. When I finally stumbled across this mount, and decided to give it a try, I knew I'd finally found one that met my needs. This mount is perfect. To date, it has not even thought about coming unstuck from my dashboard, even with my GPS left sat on it the entire time. The magnet that holds the GPS onto the mount is also surprisingly strong. When you get the two close together, it rips the GPS out of your hand and holds onto it, haha! It hasn't come off ever since. My only gripe with this mount, and the reason that I am giving it 4 / 5 stars, is that the knob that tightens the mount down (used for changing the angle of the mount) has a tendency to loosen up quite frequently. A few times a week at least, I have to tighten it back up or the angle of the GPS starts to sag down. All in all though, I still love this mount. If they were able to make the knob that locks the angle in place, just a bit more resistant to vibrating loose, it'd get 5 / 5 stars from me.

This item is great, you don't even notice it on your phone. I even got two of them for my wife's car and mine. It's also so small you can put it anywhere.

I have been using this for about a month now. It is a great product with almost no cons. I have this installed in my 6 speed jeep wrangler. Bumpy ride? Yes. Phone held securely? Mine, Yes. My wife's, Not always. Her phone is the Galaxy S5 with a fairly heavy LifeProof case. Big bumps tend to make it slide off. My Galaxy S4 (no case) does not move at all. Good price, well made product that securely holds the phone as long as you do not have a heavy phone case. Would I buy it again? Most definitely. Two actually. strategically placed to hold the top and bottom of my large tablet.
