I bought two of these for my kids to put in their cars. I hate seeing them hold their phone when driving - an accident waiting to happen. You do need a case that is smooth on the back so as to use the entire surface area of the magnetic plate. A metal plate is inserted between the phone and the inside skin of the case. This is what the magnet attracts. The suction cup is strong even over bumps. It can be bent in a number of directions to fit almost any car

I purchased this for myself, need this to hold my phone when i use my navigator. It does not rattle, nor does my phone fall off with the magnet base. I've hit bumps & potholes and still hangs on. I don't hv to worry about it falling to the floor board. I will make 2 more purchases for my family. I definitely recommend this item.

I have an iPhone 8 in a 2 layer case. I put the magnet on the back of the first layer and slipped the 2nd layer on. No problem putting the case together. The magnet is strong enough to keep a firm hold on the actually holder. The suction base is strong enough to allow you to put it pretty much anywhere that is convenient for you.

I had purchased the previous generation of this item and found it lacking. This one however, is very good. It has a lever that does not hurt your fingers when you use it to attach to window and it does a good job of keeping the device held securely.

Super strong magnet,very good value for money,rarely fall out, when running on bumpy roads.

This mount is perfect for my GPS because it is long enough to allow closer and lower placement of my GPS unit. It allows me to keep the GPS out of my sight line and close enough to use the GPS functions easily. The magnet system is very strong. So I never have to worry about my GPS falling on the floor of my vehicle. Since it is a magnet system, one can use use the GPS or phone in landscape mode or vertically. I highly recommend the Scosche mount.

Works like I hoped it would. You can bend the shaft to how you want it. I just made a disk from metal to fit my GPS, attached the GPS to it then the disk just attaches to the mount because of the magnet.

Had a friend that used this and told me it was great. I was sceptical at first, been through a few different types, but I've had no problems so far and the magnet is decently strong. If you use a OtterBox case or any that have the belt clip, I recommend putting the magnet on the outside. It slides a bit if placed in-between the cases

Use it to hold my iPhone when driving. No problems with hold and the magnet fits between my phone and my case making for quick hold and release.

I have bought a few cheaper versions of a product like this and they have not lasted more than 6 or 7 months before breaking down. I am over 3 months in now and this product is great. The magnets are strong and reliable. I need to buy one of these for my car now. I only had to stick it back to the windshield two times through the hot summer months which was pretty good I thought.

I needed a way to keep my phone secure and still be able to view the screen for navigation purposes. I looked around and didn't like any of the solutions that use a clamp to keep the phone in place. The suction cup is very secure on the windshield and the flexible arm allows for precise placement. This system is easy to use and doesn't take away from the functionality of the phone or it's case. Thanks for a great product.

I had never thought twice about buying a phone mount, until this caught my eye. Awesome quality, and surprisingly handy. Comes with two stick on bases for the magnet to stick too, i used the bigger of the two, (which is recommended for tablets), and it’s strong enough to hold my iPhone 7+ With an otter box case! I stuck the magnetic base under the rubber cover and it actually holds it up!

I was looking for a nice quick detach setup amd this works grastand tge magnet hold better than i expected. Works great 10 out of 10 would buy again

It holds my phone when driving, & keeps me hands free, It sticks securely to the dash. And the sales associate was courteous & knowlegeable.

Works really well, though can drop if you tug on the wire (my car doesn't have bluetooth). Also if you like thin phone cases, the space where the magnet is will be obvious, the case doesn't fit perfectly.

Best phone mount! Perfect for commuting and holding your phone. Never had an incident of the phone falling off(even with a case on the phone) and the magnetic piece is so small i dont even notice on when i dont have a case on my phone!

I've gone through so many car mounts and this is the best! I love being able to put my phone on the magnet with one hand, and remove it the same way. It has never fallen and I ride on a lot of rough roads. Just make sure you put the magnet on the exterior of your case if you have one. My case is pretty thin and it dramatically affects the performance.

Very durable product. Has stayed on the windshield through high temps and cold temps. Phone stays very secure. No rattles.
