With no headphone jack on the newer iPhones, I was either going to get an adapter like this or a bluetooth receiver for my car stereo, as I use the phone to play podcasts and audiobooks. This plugs right in and doesn't require recharging or additional power like a bluetooth receiver would. The only drawback is, with the lightning port in use by the adapter, I can't recharge the phone while using this. (Yes, the phone comes with an adapter, but I didn't want to leave that one in my car all the time, so I bought an additional one.)

Needed something so I could play music my new iPhone X in my car and since there is no longer a headphone jack I needed something for it to work and works great.

I enjoyed this adapter after headset jack went bad. I started listening when I plugged it right in through the Lightening port!

Even though it cost a lot more than the regular adapter, I love the option of raising and lowering the volume in addition to pausing, playing and skipping the song without having to looking at my phone.

I bought this adapter to use for my 3.5 mm earplugs that Apple doesn't have with new iPhones. It works fine and does the job. A little pricey but, it is sturdy and good quality. I know Apple sends a small one with new phones but, i didn't know it at the time. However, I can still use it with my other products.

I needed an inexpensive and safe way to control music volume on my iPod touch while on my motorcycle. Mounted the device horizontally next to the left handgrip. Works great and easy to operate, even with gloves.
