What I really like about this unit is it has a sticky back and stays adhered to my windshield, something that several other types I have had over the years.

Not for phones in a case

Asked if it worked with my iphone 8 plus in a case, he said yes. I walked out to the parking lot and fired it up. Does not charge at all with Iphone in a thin Outerbox case. Took the phone out if the case and it charges wirelessly when docked. Also the arms that grip the phone are small and flimsiy. Do not buy if you use your phone in a case.
