This was a very simple purchase of an additional hard drive to set up in my windows 7 computer. it was very easy to install and worked out of the box. I would recommend this band as a simple solution to adding space for the computer as it works out of the box.

The Seagate 1TB internal desktop hard drive has performed well, with absolutely no issues. Transfer your old hard drive data using the downloadable Seagate DiscWizard software or one of the several free tools available for Cloning old hard drive to new.

I bought this to replace a crashed hd in a friend's aio dell desktop. fit perfectly, twice the capacity of the old hd, fast and smooth. the cost for the smaller capacity replacement from dell would have been over three times more than this much better unit.

This was such a great upgrade. So much more storage and it's fast! Easy to install. Make sure to get the right one for your system.

I use this as my main hard drive for me HP desktop computer. I mostly do photographs and have filled up several hard drives with pictures. This one is half full now and has never given me any trouble. I got it three years ago!

I had a Dell Inspiron One that needed a new hard drive. I purchased this one and installed it, which was easy. It has worked fine every since. Glad to get the machine up and running again.

I considered replacing the computer for $350 due to poor performance, freezing up, crashing. I knew I did not want to pay $75 for a hard drive that did not fix my problem but, when I was told I could return it within 14 days for refund if it didn't fixt it, I thought it was worth a shot. I am glad I did as not only did it fix my problem, my new hard drive is so much quieter than the other one ever was and it is twice the size. I am really satisfied with the purchase and it makes me second guess my decision to replace previous computers rather than having tried to repair them.

My computer was down and a friend said it was my hard drive, so he looked up what I needed and all I had to do was go get it. When I walked into Best Buy's I found just what he told me to get with no problem. Now I have a computer working great.

I used this hard drive to upgrade an old computer with windows vista because I needed a desktop and someone gave me a old one without the hard drive. Swag ate 1 tb internal serial ATA hard drive was what I needed to for fill my situation. I don't think I will ever use the total capacity but I at least know I have plenty of storage capability.

I had to change out my Hard drive as my old one was making noise and slowing down my computer. Installed this very quickly with no hassles and was able to back up my whole system in a few minutes. Excellent component to my computer.

My old drive was failing so I bought the Seagate 1TB drive. Although,I had to go online to their website for instructions. It took longer to move my data than hooking up the cable and starting the data move. I am happy with the product.

I decided to install larger capacity hard drives and found the original drives were of course Seagate in my Dell Studio. The price was good, so I have a spare, though I do not ever see a reason to replace these ultra reliable drives.

While I prefer solid state drives to traditional hard drives nowadays, I still purchased this for use as backup. Combined with an inexpensive external drive housing, this is ideal for use as daily backup. No issue whatsoever with Seagate.

Spinning drives are old technology but still useful and inexpensive. It installed in seconds and wrote and read data in short order. Did not run benchmarks, but I'm an old coot, so reliability matters most. 30 days and so far so good.
