The Seagate software was used to clone a 500GB drive onto this 1TB drive. It worked great and every thing worked as if I had performed a clean install. I would recommend this product and company for those who want a new hard drive.

I built up a surplus 3D CAD PC for Photoshop. I needed plenty of storage for my photos. I shoot digital and film. With film (6cm x 9cm image size) I can scan to 80mp images.

Not much to be said about a hard drive. It just works. The install was flawless, it runs fast and quiet, and I've had zero issues. Solid product.

Great price and does the job. Only got it because can't afford an SDD (Solid State Drive). When SSD prices drop more then I'll get one. And that's what I recommend. If you don't know about SSD drives you should research it!

This hard drive was very reasonable in price. Seems to be a lot quieter then the western I purchased a few years earlier. I know its faster.

I would recommend this hard drive for expanding memory on PS4's. It's not very expensive and it gives you double the memory space that the PS4 originally comes with!

I bought one for a new PC and it was easy to install. The price was right and Seagate has a good reputation. Windows 7 was installed and the WEI gave a rating of 5.7, not bad but still a little lower than I had hoped. So, I bought another one and decided to set up a RAID 0 system which improved the WEI to 6.3; much better! The bottom line is the hard drive works fine and only a "geek" like myself would even notice any issue with performance! A 7200 RPM hard drive would give you faster response if you need it, but at a greater cost.

Purchased a WD drive online initially that failed to initialize. Installed this drive, powered up the PC and the drive was immediately recognized and ready for use.

This is a great hard drive. I have tried other brands and they tend to die after a year. Seagate drives have given me 3+ years with no issues. The only thing that could make this drive better is to make it a solid state drive.

This Seagate internal hard drive was well worth the money. Once I fiqured out how to go into the settings it was a snap. No jumpers to install. Just tell the machine to make it master and my old hard drive slave it was a snap.

With a little help, my computer was completely rebuilt. I now have a new computer with all the features of a brand new one for a fraction of the money. I just wish I had done this a year ago. I don't know why I waited so long.

The drive does what it should, and installs easily. I just wish Best Buy had more drives to choose from. But few places do, and Best Buy has a little more choice than anywhere else I've tried (online merchants excluded).

Original hard drive crashed. This was a replacement. It was a great value since Best Buy had it on sale. Geek Squad installed it in one day and back to normal in a couple of days after backup downloaded from cloud.

Great HD for the price. Installed flawlessly and had no issues. The price was fantastic for the amount of room it offers. The speed is good for gamers!

I don't know much about computers and their workings, but I can say that I needed to replace the internal hard drive on my desktop PC and this Seagate drive turned out to be an excellent choice. It came with all the necessary parts including cables which I ended up not needing. Installation was quick and easy, and a short while later my computer was up & running. The drive is super-quiet operation and access times are quite satisfactory to me. I'll be buying more Seagate products in the future, as the time requires.

The drive from Seagate runs as advertised. No problems with the installation. I chose this drive for my first self built system and will not be looking back!
