Something has changed with this drive

I recently bought one and it's now called a Desktop HDD drive. While the part number is the same as the Barracuda, the model number is different. I am recording and playing back .wav files with an application that's very sensitive to data transfer rates, and this drive definitely doesn't have the same transfer rate as the old Barracuda.

Lots of storage at cheep price
