Good performing drive for a home office server

My drive of choice

Awesome Hard Drive

Bought this as a replacement to my old hdd.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My old seagate hdd was dieing so I had to buy a new one before it completely died on me and this one was on sell though I was out to get a Western Digital hdd but the store was out of stock of them and the website hadn't updated that info. Also the information on this hdd is incorrect it has up to 6GBps data transfer rate not 3GBps. As I said in "What's not so great" the DiscWizard software is NOT included in the box you have to manually download that from the seagate support site like one of the other reviews stated.

Replacement drives

The installation process and system transfer went smoothy. I did see an increase in performance, but not as much as I expected.
