I am so happy to be back in business after installing this internal hard drive. It was easy to installed and everything is back to normal.

Installed as a secondary internal drive. Easy installation, fast and quiet.

Easy to install. For those who are adding extra storage they'll need to go into disc management in Windows for Windows to find it. Once there, select the drive, format and off you go. =)

For the average user whom does not require a massive amount of storage space this drive is perfect as a primary drive or as a storage drive. Many people will never fill up a 1 TB drive.

Bought this to replace a failed WD Blue drive that was only a month old. Worked like a champ and reliability has been good thus far.

I would recommend this hard drive for its easy setup, price, storage capacity, and overall valise for the price.

I bought this hard drive to replace my original WD that stopped working. This one is great and I have no complaints about it. It's quiet and runs faster than my last. Go get one today!

I bought a system (256gb)that needed a serious upgrade. I bought the Seagate 1TB and it was the easiest Harddrive to install, had it done in about 5 minutes. It moves right along.

The hard drive installed flawlessly, is quiet, and has been performing with out any issues.

Installation was quick and easy. When I purchased the hard drive, I didn't think about whether or not I also needed to purchase the data cable. Fortunately, the data cable was included in the box. I used Seagate's hard drive maintenance utility, DiskWizard (re-branded from Acronis?), and copied all the data from my old hard drive to the new hard drive (including the OS). The new drive boots up, and it works great... no problems encountered.

A good general use harddisk. Relatively quiet and has decent speed. Great price too.

I purchased this to replace the one that was previously in my computer, it's easy to install and set up. I am a fan of seagate products and this one did not let me down.

bought this because my hard drive failed. So easy to setup no problems encountered and my machine is running smoothly again. Will definitely buy and recommend to anyone.

Nothing bad to say. The drive didn't increase by overall system performance index -- didn't expect it to since the motherboard is ancient -- but drive I/O is known to be average. Still a good choice. Was easy to partition for multi-boot applications.

I am fairly competent to build computers. When I began having booting problems I knew it was time to change hard disks. I chose this drive for 2 500GB partitions. System on one and files on the others. Very smooth install and installing system. I have always had good luck with Seagate products and they have and honor an excellent warranty.

Hdd died on my mom's desktop. Replaced it with this and good to go. Well, except for the 4 days of updates from using the computer's original recovery disc from 2007.

I've purchases seagate drives in the past, and was happy with my recent purchase. This brand does give you good size for the price. The drive runs smooth and quiet.

My hard drive was crashing. i determined that it was a Seagate drive and wanted to replace original with same manufacturer. I was able to get going with minimal effort
