IMHO, Seagate and the warranty they provide is the best in the business. They are reasonably priced hard drives with lots of space and great performance. Its not an SSD, but it works very well for what I needed it for.

Although, not typically a fan of Seagate drives due to noise, I have to say this is one of the quietest ones I've purchased in a long time. This drive was purchased as an upgrade to a system that I sold to a client a while back, and the installation was a breeze. I would recommend this drive to anyone seeking a value-conscious replacement for a smaller drive. While others may perform slightly better, they are way more expensive, making this one a good fit for a desktop where the slight performance difference is not an issue.

This Seagate drive is perfect for 1TB size nice size cache 64 MB plus the drive was 6Gb speed capable it has been very quite and runs cool and benchmark at 200mb write and read speeds, very pleased with the performance of this mechanical drive, I like Seagate they always been around since my first Packard Bell computer it had a 1GB drive, back in 95 that was a large drive. Would recommend this model comes with cable and power dongle and screws. Tempted to get another one waiting to see if they run it on sale again.

I bought this drive to replace the one In my iMac, as this Seagate model have the same exact sensor interface configuration as my old original HD. Drive is fast and quiet. Highly recommended for your iMac upgrade.

The drive is reasonably fast and easy to transfer files. Seagate software made the copy process easy and quick. Chkdsk after transfer corrected errors from old hard drive and made repair quick, Recommend highly.

Purchased this drive as a replacement for the drive in a Dell all-in-one desktop. Not exactly the same size as original but fit the mounting just fine. Installed a clean version of Windows 8.1. Works perfectly.

Hard drive provides the right amount of storage. Label on box is misleading (no software disc included in package). Once installed and operating software back-up is performed, works like a charm. Great price.

Found this on sale, bought and installed as our 2nd drive in a new build. We use an SSD for our system and this drive for photo & game storage. Have many hours of flawless, quiet use. Highly recommend!

Replacing a drive in my Dell Desktop. New drive is very fast. Great reliability from Seagate as usual. I owned a PC repair business and I only used Seagate for replacements. Never had a problem

Not the biggest hard drive considering nowadays need but still a great value for entry level storage need. I been using it with many reads and writes for more than a year with no problems at all.

I bought this hard drive as a replacement for my original drive that had failed.... was very easy to install and setup and formatted just fine.....gave me all the space i needed for my games :)

Not only was the hard drive sold for a good price, it was very easy to install. All I did was install the hard drive into the computer, loaded the operating system, and I was ready to go!

Reliability at a great price! No point taking a chance on an unknown drive or a model with a bad history. We buy these all the time. Install, load whatever, and let it do its thing!

I love seagate hard drives. They seem to have a great reputation and fail the least out of all the drives I have bought. Speed is good and it's been solid and trouble free so far.

I bought this Hard Drive to replace a 500GB HD that I used as a back-up drive and data storage that crashed. Easy to install and set-up using the Seagate DiscWizard software.

Purchased to replace failing hard drive in computer. Matched same size unit in order to simplify install and set-up. Box stated included formatting and transfer software, which is why I purchased this unit. However, instructions stated to download formatting and transfer software from web site. Format and transfer instructions for downloaded software were less than clear and I ended up using other software for format to 1TB capacity. Downloaded software would only allow access to about 250 GB. Never got transfer software to work successfully. The hardware is great, the instructions and software for making the drive useful leave much to be desired.

This is actually a second hard drive for my computer. I bought one of these as a secondary storage drive about a year ago. I got this one to add a little redundancy via a RAID1 set up. Seagate makes really good hard drives and you can't go wrong buying one.

Worked straight out of the box. Cloned old disk to new, resized partition for additional storage, and running in a few hours. System been running 24x7 since install day.

This drive replaced a dead one and really has been a great purchase. It's fast and quiet and no problems. Quality drive with a lot of storage at a price you can afford!
