I've had this drive a few months. It was inexpensive and easy to install. I use it to play hi def digitally stored movies. So far there are no hiccups in play back.

Working Flawlessly! Installation was Easy! I am very pleased with this product and would definitely recommend it to anyone needing to upgrade their HardDrive size.

I use Seagate in all my systems these drives are fast enough for video and are very reliable. I typically get 3 years of use from them without any problems.

my security DVRs are using only these Seagate hard drives, and are on 24/7 continuously. Great prices on their 2,3, and 4 TB drives , and yes we use them all

There is no much to say about just a hard drive. It is as fast as it should be and as reliable as it should be, plus, the brand has never left me down.

Considering the specs (cache size and transfer rate) and the price this is an excellent value drive. Fast and dependable. My second purchase of this item.

I bought this to replace my failing hard drive in my iMac. Once installed it ran great and so far have not had any problems. It was a decent price too.

I use both Western Digital and Seagate hard drives, but I tend to lean more towards the Seagates as I've found them to be more trustworthy in my builds (not to say that WD desktop drives aren't trustworthy). I made a new computer build and bought this drive for my old one for the next owners (my family) and so far not a problem. Been using my other Seagate drives for 2 years now, same model and they've been great! Honestly though, if you were to get this HDD or a Western Digital blue, you'd be well off getting the cheapest one. As always though, DO BACKUPS!!!

I purchased this HDD as an addition to my system . It worked out of the box perfectly...just as I expected it would. Easy to install, quiet running.

Compared to my first hard drive purchase, a whopping 40MG, this drive is fast, and 1 TB meets all my storage needs. Great purchase for the price!

After loosing data and having many issues with WD I decided to go with a modest hard drive from Seagate and I am so glad I did. The drive was packaged really well and installed super easy. Installed Windows 8.1 in a flash and the thing is spinning very quietly. Access times seem normal and overall I am very pleased. I recommend this drive as a primary or secondary drive.

Installation and setup were easy enough. It took my old, slow, WIN7 a few minutes to find the new drive, but it's now working just fine.

This replaced a drive that got fried. It works, it reads and writes. That's what a hard drive is supposed to do. Pros: It is quiet and still reads and writes well. Good performance. Cons: None apparent at the moment. Other thoughts: I'm not too keen on how thin it is. For a standard desktop hard drive, it's half the thinness of other drives. I know that smaller and lighter has been the way things are going, but in a desktop hard drive I'm not so sure about going thinner. We'll see if it lasts as long as it should.

This is a great drive if you need more storage in a desktop computer. I have had other drives from Seagate and they never disappoint.

Not much to it. It's a hard drive. Very quiet and runs quickly. Great product. I tend to either buy Seagate or Western Digital products.

Love it! Seagate Barracuda, always reliable. Last barracuda drive I had lasted 4 years. Cons: I wish they had a 5 year warranty

Got this to round out a build for my girlfriend. It installed just fine and started right. Its nice and quiet and the price is right.

My hard drive died in my HP desktop and this installed in minutes and was up and going in no time... quite and works like a dream.

I purchased this hard drive to update a computer that my son gave me. It works Fantastic. Holds more stuff than I'll need.
