I am not a techie and this was recommended by a fried who is. He thought this had a good value and we decided to use a second hard drive because I upgraded my operating system and we were afraid I hadn't backed up everything to my external drive and guess what. I hadn't. That was a very, very good suggestion for the money.

Bought this to replace 1 of 2 others that went bad less than a month after the warranty expired. We'll see how this one holds up, but 2 years isn't very good for a hard drive.

I purchased this drive to replace an ailing drive on my two-year-old PC. I was very pleased at the ease of installation - and very happy with the cloning software which allowed me to clone my ailing hard drive and get the machine up and running with my current installation of Windows 7 within a couple of hours.

I always use Seagate products. This one is the best I have had. It installs , and is reliable. I also shop at Best Buy because I get the best value. When I get it shipped it comes fast. This time I went into the store and it was easy, best buy had all the products and a promise of more to come. Great.

Had to replace a hard drive in a desktop computer. This Seagate 1TB internal hard drive installed without any problems. I just had to format this hard drive with my Windows 8 operating system and the computer was back in working order.

The WD in my office tower bit the dust and needed to be replaced. I was at the MS Store near the BB in Jacksonville, FL and walked down the street to buy a replacement. The Seagate had the right specs and price so in it went. Much of the data was able to be recovered (thank you MS Team in Jacksonville) and reloaded along with my apps on to the Seagate. It's been six months and all is well.

It's a hard drive, what can I say? I bought it, I installed it, I had Windows format it, then transfer 300 GB of files to it. has been working ever since. I have had issues in the past with Seagate hard drives, but none with this one.

Being a computer tech I see a lot of bad hard drives. I always choose Seagate because they are the best!

Easy to swap out. Easy set up. Have not had any issues with hard drive since installation.
