I installed it in my home surveillance system and it took off like a rocket. Easy installation with no problems. I have become a firm believer in SEAGATE PRODUCTS. I have never been let down.

Hard to complain about a product that works as it is supposed to, is priced fairly (although not a bargain), and is readily available. This particular drive appears to be robust enough for heavy, every day use. I'm using it in a RAID 1 array.

Fast reliable it works. Used for storage secondary to an ssd.

I used this drive to swap a failing drive in a RAID 0. I took it out of the box , hooked it up, and had it running with a fresh windows 8 install within 30 minutes. I highly recommend it

I would say that it is very easy to install and very easyu to use.

when i buy hard drives i get wd or Seagate. simply the best.

Bought this HD to breathe new life into an old TiVo and 4 years later it’s still working perfectly. Never had trouble with a Seagate Hard Drive, you cant go wrong with them.

Had to replace original drive due to impending failure. I bought this drive so Geek Squad could transfer data and reinstall OS. It's been working for about a month now, no problems.

Purchased this drive for a business machine. Needed a 7200RPM drive and Best Buy had a good price. Would buy again.

Upgraded to a 1TB Seagate hard drive and am very impressed with the speed and how quiet it is compared to my original.

Easy install and setup. Replaced a similar drive that had failed and also turned out to be a refurbished one that had been inserted while the PC was under warrant. A good reason to be aware of refurbished products!

I plugged it in and it worked, I am more than happy with that.

I bought this hard drive as a replacement for the one that had died on my recently bought refurbished computer. Have had absolutely no issues with it in the 2 years I've owned it.

This was the cheapest 1 TB hard drive I could find, and it works wonderfully. I'm using it as a secondary storage drive next to a 120 GB ssd used as a primary drive I got a few years ago. This gives both insane speed and tons of storage.

I bought this hard drive to support by home desktop. The price at BestBuy was a bit high. Compared to other online stores, it was a bit expensive. But it is all good. I did not have to wait to have it shipped to my home. O ya, it is a reliable brand. If you buy it, save your receipt, just for the sake of warranty if needed.
