The first drive I bought to replace a failed RAID drive failed on the last day I could return it for an exchange which they did. Since then it continues to work as expected and a second RAID drive has failed since then which I replaced with another Seagate drive so far so good.

This hard drive was easy to install and the DiscWizard software provided by Seagate let me copy my entire OS hard drive over to it without any issues whatsoever.

I needed a large capacity drive as I do a lot of video and music work. I will probably never use all the room in this drive. I have always used Seagate and have been very happy with the brand

I purchased the Seagate 1Tb hard drive to replace a failed drive in a computer. I have never replaced one myself previously, but this installed easily and exceeds my expectations in performance.

This was used for security system. It seems great.

We got this for one of our office computers to store pictures and video. We ended up just moving everything to in and making it the only drive in the computer. It was easy to move with the Seagate software.

I did my research and thought that this may be a good drive to add for backup storage. When I walked into the store, I compared to what was on the Tag, and what was on the Box. The Best Buy Tag states 5 years, but if you look at the attached picture the "Newer Box" dated 5/2012 has a Warranty of 1 year and the "Pre-Thailand Flood Box" dated 1/2011 states 5 years. Safe to say they know the Drive quality is sub par and they have changed the Warranties to reflect this. If you go to Seagate's website, they will not tell you what your Warranty Length is unless you have the serial number. Western Digital states their warranties clearly on the box and on their Website.

I need to replace a hard drive in a HP computer that I was given. It took all of 5 minutes to install and. I was up a d running with the computer once again.

Seagate to me has always been the best brand of hard drives as they tend to last longer in the field than WD or Toshiba. We use these drives quite often and they rarely fail. Solid drive.

As an avid gamer I'm always in need of cheap storage solutions split by drive rather than partitioned. This is always a goto, at least 2 years of continuous read/write before anything were to happen.

So far so good. It was easy to install and had better reviews than the one that came with my computer. The one in the computer that was only 2 years old was a Wester Digital and didn't last long at all.

Needed for an out of town project. Local Best Buy had it in stock. Worked as expected. Please check to see if you need mounting hardware. Some will have it included, some will not.

Bought the drive to replace a suspect drive in a home computer. I had previously created an image of the drive being replaced as well as a system restore disc. Couldn't have gone any smoother. Recommended.

This was a replacement drive in my girlfriend's five year old HP desktop. It's faster than the old drive and has twice the capacity. All those who use the machine notice the difference in performance, too.

I would recommend this product to anyone who's looking for a basic HDD as a primary or back up. It's a better purchase than most people realize, at least when I purchased it. Best Buy advertised lower specs than what the product actually was. On sale, it's a great value and gets the job done.

Went to the store looking for another WD, but it wasn't available and the Seagate was a better deal because the data cable, power cable adapter, and screws were included. Saved money and made it more convenient. Installation went very smoothly and operation has been fine for the first month.

Great overall product for the price, fast transfer rate & size. The other great part was that Best Buy matched the Amazon price, easily, just my showing them the online price with my phone. Very easy!

It works great. Bought this for a gaming computer to go with my SSD drive. So far everything is going great, the games have sped up on loading and while playing them. I would buy this hard drive again.

My hard drive failed and I needed a new one which led me to this. It performs as expected. Seems to read and wire data with reasonable speeds. Honestly I expected to get more drive for my buck when entering the store however this has performed pretty much to specs. Would recommend to others.

My older 1tb seagate was going out and knowing that it was a good drive that i got tons of hours on and had experience swapping with the diskwizard software i wanted this brand to my pleasure it was on sale 20 bucks off. Its a nice drive thinner then the 3 year old one i replaced i think its just one disk now. My only complain is that the diskwizard software was not in the box so i returned to store geek squad got another And opened it same thing, so a manager Went it back and burned me one from seagate website, i couldnt use my pc at the time i was afraid of loosing my info or i would have done that myself if i would have known. Other then that is a great drive its better then my mobo can handle.
