I had a drive fail in my NAS and I needed a replacement. This was a like for like swap, Love Seagate, it worked great, lasted over 5 Yrs. I would recommend this drive to anyone for home PC or NAS use.

I buy hundreds of hard drives a year. This one suits my needs and performs as expected.

I have been in the computer repair business for over 20 years. Seagate is the most reliable, and when they do fail, RMA turnaround is much faster than the other guys. I don't buy anything else.

We believe this will do the trick for our computer.

Easy to install. Used as secondary drive in a PC running Windows XP. I have installed several Seagate drives in the past, as primary and/or secondary drives. Currently there are no issues to report.

This is a great internal hard drive for a standard computer system. I always trust Seagate.

Tv dr this price is a great deal next time I will get an SSD too but for now does the job well

My hard drive failed so i replaced it with this one and my computer has been running so much faster and smoother since. When i copy files over now I've noticed how much quicker it moves now.

Reliable Seagate hard drive. My use is in an A/V recording device that runs 24/7 monitoring security cameras and TV station video.

Whenever I replace a hard drive and am not installing an SSD hard drive - I always use this one - it is the best I have found. I don't even look around, I just go get it.

I had to replace a Toshiba drive and decided on this one. Could not be happier with my purchase. It has given me no problems and I am going to get a second one this month.

i have had it for a year and has been great so far... could be faster for the price

I was able to physically install easily, however I had to get tech support to install programs for me so that my computer recognized and used it as replacement for hard drive that crashed.

I needed a new system drive for a computer I was putting together and I thought that I had a spare. Well I didn't. Thankfully Best Buy's pricing was comparable to online (ie: within a few $$$) so I was able to just grab it on the way home and get it setup over the weekend.

Needed to replace 1 failed drive in a mirror set. This drive was in stock at local Best Buy so I headed over and picked it up. Was up and running again within minutes.

I'll keep this short and to the point. This drive is still alive and well in my PC to this day. It's a slave drive, used for programs that I don't need to open quickly, to store movies, photos and music, documents and other files, etc. It's got the speed of your typical mechanical, so I don't recommend putting programs that take a while to load on it, or any games that are open-world such as Skyrim of Fallout unless you want long load times and issues with stuttering as the game struggles to load resources off of the drive.

Does exactly what I need it to do and should make my computer last a little longer.

I bought 2 of these units. One is storing the operating system and applications, the other is storing data (music, email, stuff, etc.) Easy to format and install.
