I had to replace a hard drive on a computer and chose this one because I have been happy with this brand in the past. I had no problems so I am glad I chose this one.

The Seagate - 1TB Internal Serial ATA Hard Drive is being used as a replacement for a defunct SATA drive for a desktop/workstation. The drive seems to work well upon installation.

Very easy to install and has plenty of space. FOREWARNING: This does not come with any SATA cables, mounting screws or brackets. You will need to find those yourself.

I needed a inexpensive 1TB hard drive to replace a failing 500GB drive and this one was the right price. So far its working well. All in all to bad bang for the buck for a basic office computer.

I've been using Seagate drives for over 20 years and like their reliability. Have had one or 2 issues, and had absolutely no problem with their warranty replacement.

I always compare different hard drives for reliability. It's a pain in the rear to replace a hard drive and reinstall everything. This seems to be a Solid hard drive

I trust the Seagate brand and needed a replacement drive because the factory default Western Digital kept getting disk errors. This drive is doing what it's supposed to. Easy to install SATA drives nowadays.

I use this as a NAS drive inside my Netgear Centria WNDR4700. It works as it should.

the drive is great , the only problem you only had one person at the register and there was a long line I think you should have more cashier to reduce the long wait .

I have to replace a defective unit with less capacity for this brand new unit, the installation was simple and have some hardware included I would recommend this item to my friends.

I purchased this hard drive for a friend. It was a wonderful gift. Great brand.

Since drives only last 2-5 years, sometime they aren't as good, but this is a good drive if yours acts up or need to reload your windows and speed and size is decent

I am greatly pleased with this high capacity, easy to install hard drive. The installation took only a couple minutes, and it worked properly at first try.

The hard drive on my son's computer crashed and he needed to do a school project ASAP. The Seagate HDD was on sale and my son was able to complete his project on time (and play Xcom on Steam as well).

Had a HD that crashed on me; was able to look for my backup and transfer it to this one with ease. Still have plants of storage left over for music and photos.

So far so good with my hard drive. I haven't run into any load problems or stuttering this far. It's not a solid state but it gets the job done at a very affordable price.

I know nothing about the workings of a computer. When my hard drive blew, I had no idea what to do. After opening up the box, I was able to install this hard drive in 2 minutes.

Used the HDD to put an additional HDD in one of my Desk Top P C`s Did a great job to add additional storage without using the capacity of the C drive.
