Great harddrive replacement, very fast boot up, will recommend.

I have used primarily Seagate drives since I started building my own home computers about ten years ago. I know some have had bad luck with them, but to date I have not had one fail prematurely. They're fast for what they are (1TB's) and provide great capacity for the price.

I don't know that much about computers, but my Tech advised me what to buy; I found it on Amazon, but Best Buy matched Amazon's price and it was available immediately, so I got my computer repaired and back in service very quickly. Thanks, Best Buy!!!!

started making a cracking or snapping noise out of the box but works okay

This hdd was used as a secondary hdd in my current rig. Works great super easy to install and came with the sata cord as well as mounting screws as my primary did not :/ anyways good quality. would buy again!

It's OK, not the quietest high end seagate but all that BestBuy had at the moment that I needed it - to replace my dead drive with all my data on it. Naturally, I wanted a data transfer and an installation from the geek squad to be flawless. And it was. I guess these days hard drives are a commodity, all about the same, but a seagate is a seagate - i just trust them more.

Seagate HDs have not failed me yet. I would recommend them to anyone.

This product was easy to locate inside my local best buy. I bought it for my wife's new computer in order for her to have enough space to install programs and save items that would not fit on her SSD. > Cheap >Works well so far >Does what it is supposed to do.

I bought this Seagate - 1TB Internal Serial ATA Hard Drive to use as my backup drive and storage on my desktop. It was easy to install and now I have plenty of room for my video's and pictures. I also use it to keep all my data just in case my main drive crashes.

I have not had any issues. Seems like a quality hard drive!

Seagate is on the top of my list with hard drives. You can only expect the best from Seagate. In a world of fewer standards of quality and craftsmanship, I will say Seagate still offers something that will last through the years. A++
