We are too dependant on our electronic equipment these days! We came in with an old PC and left with a very functional unit. Totally happy with the customer service, right-on advice, and Geek Squad services.

i have had occasional problems with my raid 0 setup after one problem i decided to just go get a single drive and not mess with the frustrating problem i was dealing with. my solution worked well and i am happy

I was apprehensive when I first bought it unsure if it would interface well with my drives in a RAID (other drives from another brand). It works perfect.

The original hard drive in my Asus i7 desktop crashed and I needed a replacement drive on which to restore to factory specifications. The drive worked like a charm and I am back in business !

I installed it in the black Armor external backupAnd it worked great it was compatible with the other Seagate hard drive that was still working in mirrored it over and is good as new

Thus hard drive isn't as fast as the one I have now, but it's ok

As stated in the brief overview - this drive has proven to me to be more dependable than other brands I have used in the past. The price is slightly less than most, so for the money, this is a great product to buy! I highly recommend it for anyone who needs solid archive storage or for media use.

I am pleased with the new hard drive I purchased. It was recommended by the associate at Best Buy. I am downloading all my files to her old computer and it seems to be doing a fine job.

There was a recall on the hard drive for my iMac, so bought this hard drive and cloned my iMac's hard drive before sending it in for repairs. The process was quick and simple, and had no problems at all.

My computer was damaged by the ICE virus and I took it to Best Buy Geek Squad. They reported that my hard drive was damaged and I needed a new one. I was able to move up to a 1 TB because of price and discounts. I am still working out the bugs in my computer overall but making progress.

I wouldn't normally buy this type of drive these days, but the price to size was right, and Seagate makes a good product. besides, this was for a computer that I am selling. However, I would recommend that if your budget permits, purchase a SSD drive instead.

Purchased as a second drive, easy install. No problems. Exact duplicate of old 7 year old drive. Too early to tell if similar performance but always had good luck with Seagate. Not always with WD.

My raid 5 in My home server crashed. I needed a great hard drive to get My home server back online. This hard drive did the trick and has been working flawlessly ever since.

Great for using as a backup drive in a external enclosure. I was wanting something to backup media for my television; this fit the bill but a 1 TB drive doesn't hold as much as we'd like anymore.

Went into best buy looking for a hard drive for all the photos I take. This gets the job done and haven't had any problems with it.

Hard drives fail and I replace. All drives seem equal for the most part at the low end of the spectrum, I like these as they at least come with a SATA cable...small things to make one happy.

My older computer's hard drive had reached its data coverage, so we had to buy a new hard drive which would add so much needed space for our computer needs and wants. It works perfectly now.
