Very nice for Mac

I was confused how different the normal 4T external hard drive and this as both can use for Mac and PC. Then after all chatting with the best buy customer helper, I decided to buy this as my main device to use is Mac and it's a perfect choice. If you download "Paragon program" on Seagate website, you can use without any formatting on PC. Working properly and very nice size for the big data external hard drive.

a great big portable drive

Saves space on laptop

I take photos and videos daily, whether it’s of my daughter talking gibberish, my cat cackling at the shadows or capturing our family memories every hike or exploration we go on. As you can imagine, that takes up a lot of space, which my laptop was out of. Thankfully this 1tb life saver is easy to use and store my photos/videos on.

Awesome drive

I can honestly say that is no longer the case with 4TB of storage! The drive is super quiet and small. It fits in my backpack and I take it everywhere. The only thing that would make it better is a longer cable. It is just too short when you need to grab your laptop and move around.

Great speed & Huge Drive in a Little Package

Overall a great purchase!
