Arrived quickly, followed the directions in the box, worked great, no issues. Should have done it when the PS4 was brand new.

Researched a lot on a drive for my PS4 and found this item. Picked it up and had it installed in minutes. The directions are straight forward and after install has worked flawlessly! I have not noticed any lag in speed, actually it seems like the load times are a bit faster with this drive. If you are looking to upgrade your PS4 drive, look no further and pick one up and get back into the action!

I decided that I needed to replace the hard drive in my PlayStation 4 since it originally came with only 500 gigs, but the system installs every single game. Needless to say I began to run out of memory after owning the system for a year and a half or so. I researched whether or not I wanted to upgrade to an SSD, however the cost for the space I needed was not worth the investment at this time. I discovered that there were hybrid drives that provided some of the benefits of an SSD without the sticker shock. The documentation States that the drive learns the applications that are accessed regularly and then caches it to the 8 gig SSD portion of the drive for quick access. I haven't yet experienced this since I haven't played the system enough since I replaced the drive. I will say that it's running fine and I seem to have no issues. Especially at this price point. Finally, it should be noted that this drive runs at the slower 5400rpm. I did not realize this through my research until I actually purchased the drive. I was really looking for something along the lines of 7200rpm but it seems like my loading times are ok for now.

It doubles your capacity and increases the speed at which your games load. How about that!

I wanted to expand my hard drive and this is a perfect fit for my gaming needs. Easy to install, but make sure follow directions on installing this. I don't recommend anything else because this is specifically made to meet Playstation specs.

Works fine, needed to upgrade the miniscule 500GB stock drive in the PS4. Although games still come in disks, they install and can take 40-60GB per game.

This hard drive was a quick and painless swap to do now i have 1tb storage on my ps4. Added bonus i used the 500gb one to upgrade my ps3 to 500gb.
