It's got the juice. This one climbs hills better than the lesser models. If it is flat where you live you can get by with a less powerful scoot.

Bought the scooter to get around campus. Perfect for the first few days but then the electronics started glitching. This caused the scooter to stall and stop working. Very disappointed
