20$ for this game? It's a steal. Any fan of old DK from the SNES will love this game. Bosses are a great challenge as well. Super fun for 2 people!

This game is fun but yourself or with a friend, but remember it's a pretty hard game. As long as you're OK with a challenge you'll love it

I originally bought this game for my five year old but it was a little hard for him. But my older son loved it and plays with his dad all the time. Its a great gift and worth the purchase.

I have been eagerly waiting for a Donkey Kong game for Nintendo Switch. So much so that I bought a Wii-U in 2017 only to play this game. Definitely a must have game for any gamer of any age.

Fun so far, now that it dropped into the Nintendo selects price range definitely worth picking up for any collection.

This is about what you'd expect from a Donkey Kong Country game. Pretty solid 2-D platform game. Doesn't seem to stray far from the formula that has worked for this franchise for several console generations. Not the best the WiiU has to offer, but fun overall.

This game is an excellent Wii U game, perfect to play with two people, although it is very tough for younger players

My 9-yr-old daughter wanted this game for her Wii. She's very advanced with the other games she has (different Mario games, Mario Kart, Wii Party, etc), but this game was a little difficult for her. When she asked me to pass a certain part of a level for her, I couldn't even do it (and I'm a little more advanced than she is). She still enjoys the game, but when certain levels become so difficult that she dies multiple times trying to pass, she usually gives up on the game altogether. I have only played it with her, but from what I've seen that is my opinion. Nothing like the Donkey Kong I loved to play on N64!

Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze is another good addition to the DK series from Retro Studios who have continued good games since Rareware created the awesome DK trilogy for the SNES. As some other people have mentioned, there are difficult areas, but, overall, it is a good game and a good add to a Wii U collection. P.S. I bought a version of the game that was cheaper since it was part of the Nintendo Selects series which increased the my interest in buying the game.

This game brings back a lot of memories of the great snes classic donkey kong games. I recommend this to anyone with a wii u and the price of the game is also great.

Decided to pick this title up because of the price. The game is actually fun and worth the $20 bucks. Brings me back to the Super Nintendo Donkey Kong days.

Overall donkey Kong country has stunning graphics and fantastic gameplay. The game is definitely a challenge and can be difficult for young players.

This is a great game for fans of the original DKC series and DKC Returns (for Wii). I found it to be a bit more frustrating at times due to control issues but once you get adjusted it's not so bad. There are some technical issues (loading screens stutter sometimes but it apparently it's normal) but it's a gorgeous looking game and a great addition to the series. Would definitely recommend at the new lower price as well!

Multiple characters and a very long challenging story will put any DK veteran gamer to the test in this beloved sequel. Prepare to be frustrated!

This game is alot of fun. It reminds me alot of the older Donkey Kong games with better graphics. Be warned some levels are very tricky.
