Lego City Undercover - Must have Wii U GAME!

If you like Lego games and own a Wii U this is a must have game! Everything about this game is great! Great graphics, great story, great voice acting, great humor, great use of the gamepad screen, and just a great game all around! The only thing I was disappointed about is that this game is single player only. That is the only con of the game. But besides that I give this game a 9 out of 10! 1 point taken off for only being single player.

I've never played a LEGO game before, but based on reviews and this one being a Wii U exclusive I decided to give it a try. Very fun and interactive game, great use of the gamepad and goofy humor all throughout. Only issue would be the loading times, but the fun of the game made it worth it!

I am a fan of the LEGO games. This is the first one I purchased for my Wii U. Got it for $11 here at Bestbuy. Haven't had the chance to play it yet but I am sure I am going to like it. Read other reviews where it is like GTA except kid friendly. So I know it's going to be good.

Not incredibly far in the game, but have been enjoying it quite a bit. The game is cute and lighthearted. It actually makes you smile and laugh while still remaining innocent and kid friendly. The city is open world and fairly large. And the gameplay is enjoyable without being too complicated. Different costumes allow your character to have different abilities which are used to solve puzzles and complete the missions. To me the game seems like an innocent version of games like the GTA series, which is kind of nice in my opinion. The biggest negative in my mind are the load times. They're pretty brutal, but you don't have to experience them too often.

A lot like GTA except for the family & kids. Bought it for a great clearance price at Best Buy. Can't complain. GTA type game , kids love it as well as adults.

    One of Lego's best games!

I have seen this game referred to as Lego Grand Theft Auto for kids. This is absolutely accurate and my brothers and I had a blast playing it. Collecting disguises, rampaging through traffic, doing parkour through the city, and arresting criminals are all fun and engaging. The story and characters are also very compelling. The lack of co-op might deter some, but I don't see it as a drawback.

Although it's out for XB1 and PS4, having another game for the Wii U (and the great price) made it a must-buy.

I was delighted to hear that this game was getting a re-release under the Nintendo Selects brand. Despite not being based on an existing IP, Lego City Undercover is definitely one of my favorite Lego games. It is fun to play and explore the open world, and the story is as humorous as you'd expect.

I purchased this game at a low price uniquely on the fact that it was about Lego City - my 6 year old is always playing legos at the moment. I was not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised by the game. There are lots of little adventures my son loves and he also just likes wandering around in Lego City in whatever vehicle he could find. Note that your child must be able to read to enjoy this game though.

My 7 year old son and I play all the LEGO games together. This is better than some of them, but not as good as the Batman or Marvel Superhero games.

Fun game, its like a clean lego version of grand theft auto. Is pretty old being a wiiu launch title, the graphics havent aged well. And the loading times are horrible. And there is no off tv play, meaning you cant play the game with just the game pad. But it is a pretty fun game all in all.

This is the best of the best of Lego games. Great gameplay and humorous plot the only real downside was the long load times but they aren't too frequent so it is bearable.

This Wii U exclusive lego game is awesome and it is HUGE. This is a must game for any lego fan or Wii U owner! It is good for younger players too. Now that it is a Nintendo Select, there is no reason not to buy it! II have no idea why they made it so big, not just the open world, but the chapters. I can't imagine how many developers and hours it took to make this. There is so much to explore and do. The graphics are amazing. The frame rate is not the best.

Not bad, but not the best of the Lego series

My kids loved the Lego mini-movies, so this seemed like a perfect addition to the Lego Wii/WiiU collection. My kids do play it, but only when they get bored or stuck with other games. According to my kids, there are not many characters to choose from or unlock, and free play mode isn't as interesting as the Lego Marvel or Star Wars games, but then again, Lego City Undercover isn't nearly as expensive, either. Be aware that Lego City Undercover does glorify the "bad guys" meaning, it can be a funny choice for some and a bad choice for others, depending on the person.

There are long load times, but the creative use of the Wii U gamepad, open-world style of play, and hilarious cut-scenes more than make up for it!
