this game has some of the classic super mario games. downside is the controls do lag for some of the games. the games are super mario bros., super mario bros 2, super mario bros. the lost levels, and super mario bros. 3. there is also a 2 player battle mode

Instead of fixing my broken NES and purchasing the old mario games for it, I decided to buy Mario All-Stars to play on the Wii U. Although it's a Wii game, the Wii U is backwards compatible and will play it. All of the classic games have a fresh coat of paint and look fantastic. Also, you are able to create save spots in each game, including Mario: Lost Levels, which you will desperately need because of difficulty level! I would highly recommend this game, especially since it's a Nintendo Classic now and only costs around $20.

The Super Mario All-Stars pack is a good addition to your Wii U library if you want a compilation of Mario Bros games at your fingertips without digging or plugging up the antique hardware. The only knock on this would be it doesn't include Super Mario Bros (SNES) as the Super Nintendo All-Star release did. Still for under $20, four classic games to enjoy from time to time is a good deal

This game is amazing. the price is great at 20 bucks. You get mario 1 2 and 3. Well worth it.

These games are all classics. However Nintendo could have updated the controller descriptions for the new Wii controller, instead of the old SNES controllers. This seems lazy to me hence why one less star. Note also this game does not include Super Mario World. There was an All-Stars game that did.

Well this game is nostalgic for me, all original NES games plus the japan exclusive Lost Levels, in one disc, its awesome, I get to relive all those childhood memories, great game, buy it.

My kids love to play this game and the price was great.

The kids enjoy these classic games, and it's great they can be played on the Wii. The game play is excellent, only problem is the standard Wii controllers are not a great match with control functions. Overall, a good value for a multi-pack game.

How many copies of Super Mario All Stars have I owned over the years? 3? 4? 5? Probably, and Im sure their'll be more. These are the definition of classic games and they are as fresh and fun as they ever were. Disc includes Super Mario 1, 2, 3 from the original NES, as well as Super Mario: The Lost Levels (which was Super Mario 2 in Japan). The port to Wii is slightly off from previous ports in that the jumps are a bit higher and the running is a bit slippery. If you're newer to these games, you probably wont notice but us old guys will have to retrain our muscle memory.

Brings back good memories, easy to play with regular wii controllers.

I was fortunate enough to grow up in the 80's and experience the NES in all it's glory. For those who did not this is a collection of four great mario games, updated to have 16 bit graphics. YES, it is literally a disc of the exact same four games that were available on super nintendo but for people too you to have played it back then here is the chance. If you love old school mario games you can't go wrong for $20 as you get the original super mario borthers, super mario brothers 2, super mario brothers 3, and the japanese version of super mario brothers 2 (called the lost levels). Great for old school nintendo fans like me!

It can be a bit nerve wracking, especially since the controls are a bit different...but this game is a lot of fun. I'd recommend it for a long weekend with some friends :)

This is a exact re-issue of the original Super Mario All Stars for SNES back in the 90's. Nothing has been changed, and I appreciate that because I get to play the game exactly how it was released 20 years ago. One new updated feature is the ability to save the game where you left off. That is the only update, and the only one necessary. I highly recommedn this game for fans of the origial nes/snes Super Mario adventures. The game takes to back to the golden age of NES.

As a select title, this is an amazing value. Basically 4 games at a value price, each one a classic.

This game is amazing! It brought back so many memories playing these classic Mario games. I played this game for hours when I first received it (I actually bought it for my son, but I ended up playing it more than he did). This game has the original Super Mario Brothers, Mario 2 and 3, and the lost levels. My 6 year old son loves it too, but was annoyed with me because I wanted to play it so much :-) Great classic game!
