It's another Zelda game and the gameplay is fabulous. For me the degree of difficulty is just right, but for younger kids, it could be somewhat tough.

This is an excellent entry to an excellent franchise. The exploration and puzzles are superb and a masterclass. It is a beautiful hand that used the game pad well. A highly on the light WiiU library. Highly recommended for all!

Title is pretty self explanatory. Probably my favorite in the series, and I love that I can still play it and get it for a great price.

the game is challenge up to the point , it is frustrated, because you do not know what to accomplish to get to the next level. I seem to stuck at the pig level. Anyway the graphic is good and the story sequence is mysterious. I enjoy the game very much.

The graphic difference is so different from the gamecube. Controls are also improved with the gamepad's accelerometer.

It's the old cell shaded game we all hated cause of the graphics downgrade when appeared on the Gamecube way back when....lol This game has never looked better and even has some fixes that was not on the old gamecube version. game looks go good on WIIU in HD1080p and has always been one of my favorite ZELDA games it just has that Magic touch to it and makes it a classic! worth buying and playing also can play the game on the gamepad option pretty nice.

This is a great game for a great price if you've never played Zelda before this is a great place to start

I was excited when Nintendo announced the HD remake of this game. And even more excited when they made it a Wii U select and dropped the price. I now own this game in 3 diff releases, and not upset at all. This game is a pleasure to play.

This version of the game is not a simple HD upgrade... there were a few changes made to the gameplay, and a quick online search will tell you what those difference are. It has it's flaws, but an excellent game, regardless. Back in the day of the original release, I appreciated this title's attempt to break away from the "Zelda" formula. Not quite as jarring as Majora's Mask, but innovative in its own way.

To be completely honest, I didn't think a graphical remaster was something that The Wind Waker would benefit from. Its artstyle was already timeless, one of the best-aging games on the Gamecube. Turns out, it can. Maybe not a lot- all the models and textures are the same as before, less out of laziness and more because they didn't need them- but a single look at Outset Island is enough to know it gets better. However, the real draw of The Wind Waker HD is in the various small (and large) quality of life improvements that have been made. The Telescope? No longer useless, thanks to the improved draw distance. The Bow and Grappling Hook? Far, far easier to aim thanks to the addition of motion controls. Collecting Figurines is much quicker, as you don't have to do a sidequest to unlock color for the camera, can tell on the spot if your pictographs are good or not, can hold four times as many pictographs, and can turn them all into figurines in a single day-night cycle. Sailing is much quicker, thanks to the new sail upgrade. Unlocking the final dungeon is much quicker, thanks to the removal of over 3000 Rupees worth of payments required to do so. There's also a new hard mode, available from the start, that is actually legitimately hard (a first for post-N64 3d Zeldas). With the new price drop, The Wind Waker HD is well worth the cost for anyone considering replaying the original, and a must-have for fans of the series who never played it at all.

I purchased a Wii U a few months after it came out but decided to get the Nintendo Land bundle instead of the one that includes a copy of this game thinking I'd purchase it later. After seeing that Nintendo started selling it as a lower priced Nintendo Select game, I decided to purchase this game. It's been great so far and highly recommend it especially if you liked the early Legend of Zelda games.

I'm a huge zelda fan, so this was a game I must have eventhough I've already played the game cube version. I loved the HD remake they did. Overall the game is the same as the game cube version but with the obvious HD remake and some game improvements; especially when sailing those long distances, now they feel like shorter and navigating over the see is a less painful experience :)

The classic returns.... Didn't like the game when it was out originally, but i did like it this round..... Sunk a good amount of time in this time

My son used to play Windwaker on the game cube. He loved the adventure on land, on sea, in mystical places, and the challenging boss levels. Link is still his favorite character even after owning an X Box One and online play with friends. He really wanted to play Windwaker again and so we bought this to pretty please play it on his little sister's wii U. He is one happy boy!

This is an unexpected gem to me. I wasn't sure about this game because of its implied tone from the character models and overly bright game world, but this turned out to be an amazing zelda experience. Do not let it's childish demeanor discourage you from getting this game. It's definitely in my top list for zelda games (behind the Ocarina, Link's Awakening, and A Link to the Past)

Graphics, gameplay, story = 10/10. Doesn't get much better on the Wii U.
