These headphones have decent sound but nothing I would recommend to a audiophile. The materials seem of good quality and they are quite comfortable.

i nitially got the skullcandy headphones but my eqrs were hurt ing after a prolonged use. So I did try the sennheiser despite the price. It was all worth it. No earaches. Very comfortable. Only too bulky.

The sound is transparent, the headphones are comfortable, even when you fall asleep wearing them, and the build is firm.

I've had a LOT of headphone sin my time, from some VERY expensive ones, to super cheaps ones I got just to get. These are maybe the most comfortable pair of cans I've ever had - and the soundstage they provide is truly fantastic. Songs come alive the way a proper stereo mix requires, and the fact they there as comfortable as they are means they're perfect for long listens. On the train, on a plain, or eating green eggs and ham when your family or spouse is annoying you.

These are replacing a set of Beats audio Solo HDs and the difference in sound quality is significant. I can hear things in music I've never heard before.

These headphones have the same driver as the more expensive hd598. They sound great and are extremely comfortable

These pair of headphones are decent but the cord is a bit too long and makes actually using them in most settings a bit inconvenient.

Before people buy this product they need to be aware it is an open back headset. This means there will definitely be sound leakage and compromise bass that most people might be used to in consumer grade headphones like Beats, JBL, etc. However this opens the door for soundstage, which I prefer. It doesn't misrepresent sound and I love listening to music through these. I bought these to obtain an emmersive experience that my studio headphones can't give me.

I was hesitant to buy these because they are OPEN BACK HEADPHONES. After trying, I'm sold. Open back headphones are superior because they sound better compared to CLOSED BACK and way more natural. You can speak to others without hearing your own voice as muffled. Great for recording and editing videos. *Note that these headphones DO have noise leak. You should try playing music with them in a closed room with a friend to ask for their input.

I use them daily, good sound, comfortable. Think I've used my Beats once since getting these Sennheiser's.

These are some real deal quality headphones. I purchased these mainly for my DP-300F turntable, but they've become one of my most used headphones. THESE ARE NOT NOISE CANCELLING. However, the engulfing experience of every sound wave being laid out in clear detail and received will make you think that they are. I primarily use these for music, but they provide dynamic cinematic experiences and immersive gaming experiences.
