Pretty good for gaming. Used well in locating directional sounds with it's wide soundstage. I consider it one of the best headphones for gaming that I've used in the past 2 years. Shame that it's discontinued but I believe it has been replaced and updated by the sennheiser 599.

These headphones were purchased for listening to music through my stereo music system. They have a 1/4" plug, so are good for regular music systems, although an adapter is included so they can be used with portable music systems. Headphones are reasonably priced, and are comfortable over-ear phones with decent sound reproduction.

I like the spacious feel of the sound - not boomy bass.

The audio clarity is very good. Better than beats and jbl.

For the discounted price, these are quite special headphones from a well known headphone maker. Although there are newer models now available, they are not necessarily any better sounding than this tried and true model. If you are looking for a great sounding pair without spending audiophile $$$, these should be on your list.

Great sounding headphones, especially for the price

I bought these headphones after seeing them on sale for $75 mutliple times on Best Buys website, finally caved right in the middle of summer. By far the best pair of headphones I have ever had. The bass is deep and prominent but it does not drown out any of the other stuff.

Bought these to replace my original Sennheiser HD540 that lasted 20 years. Those were extremely comfortable and I could wear them for hours. Also, the HD540 had better sound. I would not buy another headphone from Sennheiser again. :)

These are very good, no fuss, headphones for the price. I use them with a VR headset and the over ear design and excellent sound complete the immersion. I wanted something lightweight but wide enough to fit over the headset and still be gentle on my ears after hours of play.

Head phones are awesome! Needs to be broken in by using them for a week or so...headphones covers the ears so you can keep them on for awhile without it hurting your ears. Plus, you can hear your surroundings.

While not noise silencing, these headphones do an excellent job of drowning out ambient noise such as a small crying child seated directly behind me on a flight from Pennsylvania to Sacramento. Without them, this could have made a 3 hour flight seem like 10!!!

Needed these for my laptop, plugging into a pair of Bose speakers. The size reminds me of the old days of headphones - but I find that I just can't quite give up a wired connection, vs. a wireless pair of headphones. Maybe with my next laptop? Good phones.

I just wished it had a case. The views always get tangled up.

These headphones produce a soundstage that appears to come from in front of you, rather than inside your head. They also provide a balanced sound, with a clear mid-range, a tight, not boomy, bass, and smooth highs.
