I purchased these headphones as a "deal of the day" special. I have always been a fan of Sennheiser, and so buying these was somewhat of a no-brainer. Very pleased with these headphones - quality sound and a comfortable fit.

These headphones are very comfortable and deliver amazing sound quality. I tried on Bose, Sony, Beats, and when I finally tried these I was sold.

I managed to pick these cans up while one sale for $59.99. The sound is great for that price point. Keep in mind they are open back so if using them in a quiet sureondimy people will be able to hear what you are listening to. Good highs and mids, lows are not too overpowering like some headphones.

I picked these up after doing some research online and am quite satisfied. The headphones are comfortable, provide good full-range sound quality, and have a long cord that is useful if you are using at home. Because of the cord, size, and fact that they are not noise-cancelling, I would not recommend for commuter use.

Purchased these specifically for gaming on PS4. When sitting down on the recliner found that the included cord with adapter is way too long when plugging into the PS4 controller. Resolved this by ordering the shorter cable with no adapter (HD 5x8) from Sennheiser for $12.95 and it works fantastic! I wish they would have included that in the package. Sound is rich, well rounded, not as bright as a Sony set I have, the thing that delivers for me is my ears don't get hot. I wanted to try the open back design and it has been perfect for long gaming sessions. Very happy with this purchase.

I was really interested in those headphones, reviews was great... I bought it on sale, tried and returned. Why? Well sound is really good, comfortable with huge earpads but have open design. Which means no any isolation from environment noise at all. By design that offers natural sound like listening loudspeakers.

Well worth it if you can obtain them on sale. The headphone jack cable is too long if you plan on taking them out of the house but you can purchase a shorter cable from various sellers. I do love how they sound.

Sound quality is great. I'd hoped for noise canceling, but these are not. They are very comfortable over the ear. I would have preferred bluetooth, wireless, but for the price these will do for now.

I had a set of hd 203's which were closed back, and I loved them. Even my wife was impressed. Decided to spend a little extra coin and try these to see what the difference was. I've never had open back headphones before. I Connect these to a player with a good DAC and a headphone amp, they simple reach a whole new level of sound! Something you only hear in high end equipment. I am very pleased and impressed with my purchase. I look forward to coming home at the end of the week and putting these on and just sit back and relax.

These headphones continue to blow my mind. Amazing sound breathes new life in to music I already loved and helps me to appreciate music in ways I didn't before. Fit comfortably, high quality materials, and very attractive when worn.

Bought these headphones and after a few months of use I'm pleased with the overall performance. The headphones sound great and are extremely comfortable. Had to get an adapter for this set to get it to work with my mic though.

I bought this for my Daughters and sometime I use it too. This one is definitely better than AKG the one I had before this. Sounds louder and clearer, also the price is lower than anywhere else at the time I bought it.

The HD558 initially had a snugged feel, but has a very feel to it. It also produce a clean sound with bass and mids being present. These headphones would not be recommended if you are looking for a headphone for bass heavy music.

These headphones are great. The sound is very clear. They are very comfortable. Really can't ask for more at this price point.

Great style comfort and fit. These are used every day for computer gaming by my 14 year old son. He chose these over the Audio Technia ATH M50. He stated the sound quality of the Audio Technia were better with just the straight computer sound, but I had a spare Sony amp for Dolby Digital 5.1 home stereo sitting around. So now he is using the amp to run the computer on board Digital sound through the amp, then to the headset. Once the head phones were plugged in, the Sennheiser really shine! The Audio Technia just could not compare. I did a listen comparison and the Sennheiser really do sound much more clear and crisp, where as the Audio Technia began to sound distorted at the amplified level. He is VERY happy with these.

The sound you want and a comfortable fit. It does not block ambient sounds so much but allows one to hear what is going on around them. Good for studio.

I have had the HD545 for 20 years and I have loved them. I wanted an updated pair so I bought these. they sound great and are very comfortable. Great value!

Comfort and quality build is pretty good. Like that these are open back headphones so you get a good sound space. Only con for me is bass is a bit lacking but overall these are very good value for the price I got it for.
