I got lucky and happened to be looking for headphones when these were on sale I got them for $75 which was 50% off of the price tag and I can tell you after owning them for a while now that I feel I got an incredible deal at that price. I really enjoy these headphones for music as well as moves. If you can get them for under $100 it's worth it

These are good open headphones with good sound quality and reproduction. They are closed so the bass is weaker than other comparable headphones, but the mid and high are very good. Also, they are quite comfortable.

These things are great. I wanted to get a good introduction to audiophile headphones and this was a great choice. Music has never sounded as good to me as it does on these headphones. Instruments and vocals are clear and distinguishable. No regrets with this purchase and here's to the start of a new hobby.

I haven't had over-ear headphones for some time... generally found them cumbersome and unwieldy for a little better sound quality. But with these Sennheiser I have decided when I really want to be immersed in sound this is the only way to go! This is the best sound I've had since I was dj-ing back in school!

I wasn't a fan of over ear headphones; until I tried these. Love the stage sound. Its like as if the artist is giving you a personal performance. Great sound. Highly recommend.

I bought these to use when practicing guitar. They fit good and feel great wearing them. Great sound quality as well.

These are very comfortable and truly cover yourvear, they are exactly round. Ivery had before and they last a long time, they fixed the vinyl ear attachments. The are made of a velvet material which is great. The only negative I have is that the wiredoesnt change out but the connection are the larger input that will not fit in phones, tablets but are made large components, even though it does have 3.5 connection, but it makes it 3-4 inches solid straight up my phone and even though it has a great 6 foot cord, I would rather they engineer it so the it comes stock with the smaller 3.5 for a phone or tablet and add an adapter for larger components.

This is a fantastic set of headphones, the sound quality is so much better than a lot of the headphones I used previously for gaming. The sound cancelling factor is interesting, you're able to isolate sounds really well with slightly increased volume, but when you turn it down a bit you can still hear through the ear cup. It's a pretty handy feature to have and a bit of a hidden gem. Removable cable is a genius idea! If there's any negative thing about this phones, it's that the thick ear cushions sometimes can cause your ears to get a bit warm when you're using them in warm places but really doesn't take away from the great sound of this cans. Overall they have brilliant sound quality and are really solid in terms of both quality as well as craftsmanship.

I spent a lot of time doing research looking for a set of headphones. I wear glasses and needed to find headphones where the frames of my glasses wouldn't dig into the side of my head behind my ears. These are perfect! They are the most comfortable set of headphones I have ever used. Sometimes I even forget I'm wearing them - that's how comfortable they are. They are not noise canceling, but they have great sound. They are also not on the ear headphones, but over the ear which makes them a bit bulky - but they're not heavy. Overall, I'm very happy with them.

These headphones are great! They a very natural sound that is super clear and clean. No artificial bass or treble. However, be warned about what this product actual is engineered to do. They are open-backed to let air flow to create a natural sound. They are not noise reductive. I can wear them, hear my music and hear, relatively clearly, people speaking to me. I don't mind this though. The open design is not as intrusive as you would think. Also, they are super comfortable for extended periods of time. Only wish there is an option for a shorter cable. Still, great product!!!

These are terrific high-fidelity headphones for anyone who listens to music on an actual stereo system (not a computer or portable device). The richness and depth of sound on these is remarkable. After struggling for years to find decent headphones for home stereo use, I couldn't be happier with these. Who knew you had to look in the home theater department to find something for hi-fidelity music listening? I'll keep my Beats headphones for the iPhone or watching movies on a laptop; these babies are my new go-to for serious music enjoyment!

The sound quality that you get from these headphones is incredible, especially for the cost. I purchased them when they were on sale for $80 and it has been some of the best money I've ever spent. The sound is incredibly crisp and it feels like you are there. The only downside I'd say is that they are open backed so the sound does get out of it's turned up but they are VERY comfortable. Have worn them for hours upon hours straight and barely noticed. Highly recommend, will definitely buy Sennheiser when I go to wireless.

This is a bang for yourbhuck/high quality headphone, but the cord is waaaay to long. Sound is amazing for its price point. I would like it to be slightly louder however.

An amazing pair of headphones. Sound definitely leaks so not really recommended for office use. Other than that can be put on for hours without any fatigue!

I caught these on a really good sale on Bestbuy.com and decided to give them a try. They sound amazing they are not real base heavy but if you want a great sound range pick these up. I use them for gaming as well and they brought sounds I had never heard in game from my so called gaming headsets.

I was looking for an inexpensive set of headphones that would be great for using with my vintage receiver and turntable. The HD558 popped up on BestBuy.com for $79.98. $70 off retail. I know they are a few years old but they are great. Super comfy padding and great bass. Its nice to have the 3.5mm adapter so i can plug it into my computer and use it for games. Currently using them for PUBG and i can hear footsteps around me very clearly, which is a huge plus in that game. Only bad part was that i had to drive 1 hr to another store to get them. At this price they should be available at all stores.

These headphones go on sale regularly for around $70. For that price point it is an INSANE deal and you should totally get it as you will not find a better quality build and sound from any other headphones for this cheap!

When these are on sale for 70-80, they are a great buy. The soundstage is great, imaging is very accurate, and there is a very nice bass response when compared to other headphones in this price range. The headphones will have a slightly stronger clamp when first breaking them in, but it will soon get adjusted to your head size. The pads are comfortable, but I must say that it can be improved. Having a removable cable is a big plus because you can add detachable microphones like the VMODA Boompro with a quick and easy mod of removing the 2.5mm blocker and grabbing a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter.

Using my Best Buy rewards certificate I was able to get a great deal from these headphones. These are not your ordinary headphones. They are high quality high frequency headphones. If you get these headphones they will change your life.

I picked these up when they were on sale for 80 bucks and boy was I glad I did. These are open back design which provide a wonderful soundstage depending on music. The audio is crisp and neutral so don't expect bass reliant songs to work as well. One downside is the size of the cable and the adapter that it comes with. If you want a smaller cable that has a 3.5mm jack default, then a quick Amazon search will do. Even after having to buy a new cable, I still saved plenty because of the sale.
