sound and build quality is good for this price level. comfortable, but definitely not portable, especially with the large plug adapter = good for home use

Purchased as a birthday gift for my dad. He uses them to listen to music as well as late night TV (as to not disturb Mom when she's sleeping). They have great sound & I got them on sale for a great price.

I've always loved Sennheiser and this set of headphones is no exception. Sound is clear and full. Very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Have use these directly from my phone, through an AVR, and a personal tabletop DAC & amp combo and no matter which I used these sounded amazing. I caught these while they were on sale and I would have still paid full price for them given how much I love them.

I purchased these headphones for my father as a Christmas present this past holiday season, but have since had the opportunity to use them myself and I started to wish I had gotten them for myself! These headphones are very comfortable, using cooler (in my opinion) fabric material compared to the warm leather, and sit perfectly over my ears. The sound quality is also excellent, with everything sounding of studio quality. Definitely feel like my money was well spent on this product.

These sound great, very comfy. Supplied cable is 10 feet though; I got a shorter cable from a different retailer.

These Headphones are by far one of the best ones I've ever came to won. The Lows, mids and Highs are all great and don't interfere with eachother in these cans

Pros: Clarity. Comfortable. They got that curb appeal. Cons (kinda): long cord and could use a carrying case.

I got it one month ago and I use it two or three hours one day. Compare to my old HD218, it shows much better solution to the sound, especially for the songs. It gives my supprise all the time and I enjoy it!

Great intro-audiophile level headphones! On sale, these headphones provide great value and sound clarity for the price (~$90). Being an intro-audiophile headphone, this pair really introduces people to the world beyond Apple earbuds and Beats. For many, this may be the last headphone upgrade they'll need, but for others, it could easily be a "gateway drug" to what else possible in the audiophile world. Just keep in mind, from a utility perspective, that these are open ear headphones, which means that outside noise will be heard and this won't provide any noise isolation/cancellation. As long as you're okay with that, you won't be disappointed.

I have been a fan of Sennheiser headphone products for over 30 years. I prefer the sponge like open design rather than over the ear or ear buds. I would buy these for myself again or as a gift for someone else, Audio range: good to very good. Fit: good for my large head. Cord length: good and cord is well made Negatives: adapter may need to be replaced if you have a recessed jack. It took several attempts to get the adapter to connect to the PC and never will work in the recessed speaker jack.

I love everything about the head phones. Sound quality is clear and deep. Keeps out other surrounding noise and let's you focus only on the music.

I read the reviews prior to purchasing these headphones. I use these daily while using a mixer for field recording. I highly recommend these headphones. Good quality.

Bought the headphones for 69$. Definitely the best audio quality you can get under a 100. I have owned many pairs, these win hands down for a wide music sound stage. Have a good balance of mids, highs and lows. I can wear them for hours and not get tired. I wont recommend these to bass heads or if you mind the sound leak from the cans. Yet to try the foam mod, don't feel like messing with them yet.

Had to order these from the warehouse, but was lucky in that they arrived early. Very large can fits comfortably over my ears which are big. Easily adjustable. Very very flat sound which is what I am looking for. Once you get used to them you can equalize to your liking and they sound great. These are open back so while the sound stage sounds great you can still hear wife and kids calling you if needed.

What really sold me was the overall comfort that the headset offers. I docked one star only because it lacks any sound insulating feature, other than that.. The headset sounds really good..

Well this gives me a new found joy in listening to some of my favorite jams. The quality is superb, built very well. Just wish they would either include a carrying case or offer more accessories directly.

Love this headphone. Its an open back design and after long hours of gaming my ears do not get all sweaty and hot. I can still hear the area around me.

These are terrific headphones; great sound stage and sonic detail! These are the first headphones I've ever bought that truly qualify as high end. Very comfortable, with an extra long cord; really designed for at home listening through a high definition sound system. Luckily for me they went on sale for half price & I grabbed them!! Highly recommended; you won't regret buying them!

I really like this headphone. Pros: the sound is amazing. You can hear good bass. Also if you don’t like that tight on-air headphones, (those hurts my ears) u will love it. The cups are big enough to cover your ears. Cons: its not sound isolating, so everyone in the room will hear what you are listening. The second con is it came with strangely too long cord, and converter, so I had to buy a cord for myself.
