Sure you could buy Bose or Beats and Pay 3 times as much as these headphone. However, these are still high quality and you'll save a lot of money!

If you want to hear music the way it is supposed to sound then these headphones are a great place to start.

They fit my 2XL head and the cloth contact point stay cool and dry. These are open back so there is some sound bleed in both directions. This does provide a more natural sound but less detail in a noisy environment. The EQ seems consistent across volume levels and I get no distortion at higher volumes. They are fairly priced and a good deal on sale but listen and compare as they may not be for everyone.

Purchased these headphones for watching TV and the sound quality is amazing! Didn’t realize how much of the soundtrack I was missing!

It goes on sale often, so you’ll commonly find it for $80 and its a good pair of headphones. Quality is good for amateur audiophiles.

I was struck immediately by how comfortable they were. I wear them while riding a stationary bike which is kind of overkill, but the last thing I want during my exercise is to be annoyed by headphones. In addition to comfort, the sound is outstanding, giving me a "theater" experience while I watch TV. And, the feeling of comfort lasts throughout my use of them. Love 'em!

Sennheiser has been a favorite brand of mine for over 45 years, and their products continue to please me. Other big name headphone manufacturers haven't fared so well. These headphones are comfortable for listening for hours, and the sound is excellent. Not bass-heavy like some of the new trendy brands, but honest yet powerful sound.

Absolutely love these, they sound really great and are super comfortable. Ear pads can be replaced easily and cord is detachable, two key features that should help these last a long time. Would recommend buying a separate 2.5mm to 3.5mm cord since the included adapter is quite large and feels weird to use with phones, PC's etc.

Bought my wife these to use on plane for a trip. Since she only flies a few times there was no way to get Bose but these are terrific for the price

I wanted to buy more expensive headphones (thinking they would be better) but I really needed to stick to a budget. I have to say, these turned out to be pretty good!

These headphones were exceptionally priced. When we got them home they sounded great. The long cord was a bonus.

I am not an audiophile. I listen to metal. I historically have not listen to music with headphones. Those disclaimers out of the way, I really like these headphones. I hear things with these headphones that I haven't heard before. They are comfortable. I really don't know what else you would want for the price.

Mod HD558 is very similar to HD598. Can't tell the different between them. Good buy.

Purchased these headphones for my husband who watches a ton of car shows and drag racing on the computer. His main complaint of previous head phones was the fit and comfort level as they made his head and ears ache. He loves these! They are very comfortable, well made, noise cancelling with quality sound.

These headphones are high quality. They are not booming with bass. They produce a clean full range sound.

Great sound. Very comfortable even while wearing glasses. It doesn't have a mic, so I had to purchase one. It's not cheap so if you can get it on sale like I did, then buying a separate mic won't break the bank. I am very happy with the sound. I gave this 4 stars because of not having a mic but I would recommend purchasing for sound and comfort.

A great set of headphones! They have lots of adjustment for people with large heads, and are quite comfortable. Fantastic sound too, very pleasant to listen to for long periods of time. HIGHLY recommended - delightful sounding headphones; the warmth is extremely enjoyable and the sound just envelops you.
