Had been looking at the 650/660 headphones for a long time. Between big sale and open box discounts, opted for the 820's. Sure glad I did!
These headphones, powered by the Sennheiser HDV 820 Headphones Amplifier along with aftermarket 4 pin XLR headphone cable are incredible.
EVERY CD sounds like a whole new listening experience.
Soundstage is spectacular!
I highly recommend these headphones!

Paired with my Marantz amp and the sound is nothing short of amazing. I'm used to using Bose (QC45) and Sony (WXM-004) Bluetooth headphones and while they are great for traveling, the HD820's are simply levels above in sound clarity. It's a whole new experience.

By far one of the best headphones I’ve had amplifier is required but these headphones are with it very comfortable with glass and without glasses

The difference in sound stage to another pair that's around $400 like the momentum 3s (which I also have) is like night and day. Every instrument and even the vocals become more crisp and pronounced.
