The Sennheiser Momentum is a very nice pair of headphones. Recently purchased them after returning the Sony extra bass headphones due to the head fatigue and less than stellar portability on those Cans. The price point on the Momentums can be daunting, but you get what you paid for: Quality. The headphones are really comfortable to wear, have not experienced any head fatigue after 2+ hours so far and the earcups can be re-positioned easily. Build quality can be deceivingly good despite just 2 simple hinges holding the cups together, but I did a small bend test and they did not show or create any negative signs of breaking. The portability is great with these as they fold inwards and you can put them in the included carrying bag (huge plus) In terms of sound quality, it is very well defined with various soundtracks such as classic, electronic, DJ, etc. My only gripe that I hope Sennheiser would build into these kinds of headphones at a cheaper price point in the future is to have them come with Bluetooth capabilities. The overall build quality, sound, portability, and comfort are great positives for these Cans, but the lack of Bluetooth functionality is preventing me from saying these are perfect for the price. IF anyone has the cash and is looking for great wired headphones, I would definitely put the Sennheisers up for consideration.

I bought these to use for travel, mainly mobile devices. Very comfortable for long wearing times. If they would be a bit more compact, that would be better, but over the ear headphones mean larger size. The sound is good, but it reproduces fairly accurately, so poor source material will not sound that great, you can tell the difference between high-bit rate encoded materials and lower bit rate stuff.

Great sound for playing from mobile device in office or traveling. Controls on cable too short. Need to add a non control cable in package. Contacted Sennheiser customer service and they sent me a plain cable w/no controls.

I have much more expensive headphones at home but these Momentums are perfect for taking out to the gym or to listen privately anywhere else. They are closed back, meaning they keep the sound in, so you can even use them in the library. They fit nicely. I have, ahem, a round head and I can wear them for three hours without fatiguing. The headphones fold easily and store in a zippered carrying case. Bass is deep and mids are just right. Recommend!!

The headphone are great! The Leather and steel build of these headphone make the headphones look very nice and very durable! The sound quality is also top notch.Great lows and clear highs! The mid range is not as good.

These are my second go to cans. The first being my H6 by Bang and Olefsun. The fact that I caught these on sale for 250 makes them an even better deal then those. I use them with a dac so they really stand up.

These headphones are amazing. If you play your favorite song that you know by heart and then listen to it on these you can hear the subtle differences in the track you couldn't hear before. These are great sounding headphones with what was a low price when I bought them that appreciate music without having to be bound with audiophile headphones that you plug into a powered device like an A/V amplifier. These are great for you portable device.

I got this ON sale + $100 GC so it's hella worths! Fashion cans with amazing sound quality. They are closed, but great because they're meant to be portable. So you can bring them anywhere, they won't leak sound and you can't hear ambient noise. Note that. Not good for home if you're like me and have a little chld at home that needs you but you can't hear. Wife wasn't too happy...

I got into Sennheiser from reading about audiophiles and the headphones they liked. I got my first pair of the Momentum v. 1 from online, so i had to get the second version when it came out. These have a great form, not too tight on the head and the cushions fit all the way around my ears, not on top. works for iphone but with the adapter cable i have it working with my android. I use it with my music programs and it sounds great. the bass is crisp and clear and even though it might not say, they block out outside noise quite well

Absolutely love this headphones. There's a magic to listening to music with these headphones. The music sounds alive. You can close your eyes and almost feel like you're in the room with the band. No overwhelming bass, but it's definitely there. Love them.

I own a pair of Sennheiser Momentum on-ear (gen 1) headphones as well, and these offer even better sound quality than those already did. The over-the-ear design makes them a lot more comfortable than the on-ear models, and the cups are nicely padded.

I read all the reviews and decided to get these for the plane and when I use my laptop. Major upgrade from the basic earbuds and more comfortable. Like the fact that the headphones fold for travel. The price was reduced $100 from original price so they became more affordable. I would definitely repurchase.

This was a. Firsy splurge purchase on headphones. I am a. Big in ear guy. Here, want to have for a. Flight. They worked great. Bowers wilkins on ear are great for sound but these are much better for air travel. I would say theybare durable my climsy friend uaed them with no samage.

Absolutely superlative! The headphones were extremely comfortable and do not generate heat in and around the ears. The sound quality was clear, precise and natural. I would highly recommend these headphones!

If your in the market for a set of cans that scale well, wheather from a smartphone or a dedicated amp. This is a very good headphone, very nice upper mid level treble extension. Very nice mid vocal presence and good impactful bass.

The headphones were okay, but taking them back. They just didn't live up to the hype that they had. I actually prefer the sound of my old Turtle Beach x12s over these unfortunately. I really wanted to love these but just can't after testing some Bose Q35s at the Best Buy near me and hearing the difference. These do isolate sound pretty well but the sound just seemed very bland to me. I am not into a lot of bass so these were good in that area, but they were just bland. Probably going to return these and pick up some Q35s on sale. I also thought they weren't as comfortable as other headphones out there.

Sound is fantastic! The price is decent. The only change I would like to see is in the ear cushion, it starts to feel uncomfortable after an hour of wearing.

Solid manufacturing and they sound great. Easy to use and clean. Would recommend to anyone!
