Great sound, but doesn't get loud enough

Much cleaner than beats and even Bose QC35, but it just doesn't get loud enough paired with my iPhone 7+. I need this for air travel, so that matters. Noise cancellation also was unspectacular. Bass is ok, but if you're into things with beats, it doesn't hit hard at all. I ended up returning and buying the beats studio headphones for $100 less on sale. Don't regret the decision but still hoping something better comes along this year

I am very pleased with the reproduction produced by these headphones and at a reasonable price. Pleasing bass and higher frequencies without using higher volumes. Good seal around ears without discomfort. Good value and as pleasing as older over the ear wired headphones I used in my younger days.
