Outstanding
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Le creme audiophile grade cans. The sound is clean via BT. I use them for work. Better than self acclaimed gold standard QC35 BOSE. Yes. I bought all three. For test. BW P7. QC35 BOSE Sennheiser

Excellent Sound Quality!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this because my Crusher Wireless Skullcandy headphones broke at the hinge. That seems to be a common breaking point with most of the plastic-type over-the-ear headphones that I have bought in the past. The major selling point then of course was the metal hinge here with these Sennheiser cans and the sounds quality I had heard so much about. They did not disappoint. They are now my primary pair I wear around the house, office, and home office when listening to music. The noise cancelling is decent but the overall sound from the highs to the lows is so immersive and clear. They are really wonderful and I was able to grab a pair on sale for $199.99. The only complaints I have had about these is: 1) These are hand crafted and so with the stitching you will notice a few spots where there is glue on the leather. Believe they did this to better secure the end stitches but I thought it was a defect or something gross at first. 2) I have had it happen many times when putting them on or taking them off and there is this real high pitch noise they let off. I think it is because of how they are grabbed and if you cover the mics a certain way. It is a bit difficult to replicate but happens occasionally and really annoying when it does.

Sennheiser or Bose
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these and the Bose QC35's planning on returning the pair I liked the least. On first impression I was certain I would like the Bose better, but the M2's really grew on me. The Bose are by far better at noise cancelling, but that is a difference that is really only noticeable when no sound is coming through them. With music on at 50% volume I could not notice a difference whether in a busy waiting room, around typing keyboards in the office, or just sitting on the couch with the TV on or the vacuum running. I had no issues pairing both sets to multiple devices and switching back and fourth. I never reached near a dead battery on either set and both perform well for taking calls. The deciding factor for me was the everyday comfort of the M2's and the superior sound quality. This is not to say the Bose sound is bad, but the M2's just sounded richer. When listening to the same songs at the same volume the M2's always just sounded a little better. Also for me the Bose didn't quite feel right on my head they were comfortable, but somehow felt a bit foreign to wear. Lastly, the pressure sensation on my ears that Is expected with ANC headphones did not feel as pronounced with M2's. My recommendation is to try both for a few days to see which really meets your needs best. For me the Sennheisers were the best choice.

They can do it all and they're Sennheisers!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What are you looking for in pair of headphones? Oh yeah? Well these can do that too! Of course we all have our unique opinions and these are mine... They're stylish so they look good on your head. They are very well built which is better than about 80% of the other bluetooth headphones available. They have REAL leather on the headband and earpads, unlike most of the competitors in this class. Everything on this pair feels high end and a cut above the rest. The comfort is excellent as well. Connectivity is great, lots of options to get sound into them. Of course you have bluetooth, you have the included 2.5mm to 3.5mm locking cable for hard wiring, and you also have the ability to connect with the USB to your device for digital audio. I did not notice a lot of difference between the connections, just a little warmer sound coming directly from the cables. The highs are very good, nice sparkle. The mids are where this set shines, vocals and mid bass sounds excellent. The lows are not overpowering but present, these can reach down low but it's not overly boomy. I can hear a signature Sennheiser sound here which I like a lot. Noise cancelling is good, not the best but good. Now I personally don't care as much about that feature as I do others so I would like the option to disable it, unfortunately you cannot here, but since it's unobtrusive I do not mind and won't take anything away from it for this. Basically, if you feed this set a clean signal of high quality audio then you will be happy, if you feed them trash you might not like these... garbage in, garbage out right?! These are some of the best I've heard so far in the price range and I think overall they compete favorably. At $200 (got them on sale for half price), they are an absolute must have in my opinion. I personally do not think you can find a better bluetooth set for $200 or less all things considered, now that opinion changes a little when you start talking non-bluetooth headphones because headphones like the AKG K371's exist.

Boss mode!!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Where do I start? The amazing looks or the crisp clear sound or the pretty sweet noise cancellation? Lemme talk about the sound since these are Sennheisers and their purpose is to deliver sound quality (with comfort)... The sound from this bad boy is just too good! The highs are good, but not the best. They could use a little more emphasis. The mids are especially clear... which might not be suitable for some people. This puts more weight on the (mostly female) vocals. Some might enjoy the clarity of the vocalists, while others might crave for more treble or bass. The bass is energetic, but not overly punchy. Some might find the bass underpowered. It kinda feels like the bass is being blended in with the rest of the frequencies. Millennials and bass heads might find this disturbing... But fear not! I figured out a solution to this problem... Get a Fiio A3 amplifier and turn the bass on... That way, the bass will become more powerful, and then the headphones will be complete. Momentum 2.0 + Fiio A3 = PERFECT!!! In conclusion, if you're not planning to use an amplifier, then these headphones are perfect for someone who enjoys vocalists with light orchestra (due to the lack of treble). Millennials, if you like party/rock/pop/hip hop/EDM/dance music, be sure to purchase an amplifier (like the Fiio A3) for more bass. Oh btw, the looks are just too good. And so is the noise cancellation. Maybe not as good as Bose or Sony, but it's in their ballpark. There aren't a whole lot of features to play around with, so beware before purchasing.

Absolutely stunning!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was in the market for a high quality pair of over-ear wireless headphones and after some research, decided on these. My main use for these is listening to music. I listen to a lot of music and the sound quality on this headphone is fantastic! The soundproofing definitely works. This part isn’t silent, there is a hiss that you only hear if there is no audio going through the headphone, but it id quite effective. I wear these in the gym (if that’s your main use for these style of headphone, this wouldn’t be my first recommendation) and they cancel out the music that plays there without any problem. I also don’t have to turn the volume up very high at all. These headphones work well for phone calls when you need to talk. A few odd things that I’ve found about these headphones, I have pulled the headphones away from my ear a few times to hear someone speak to me and about three times since I’ve owned these I’ve gotten feedback. Very harsh feedback at that. I’m not sure what that’s all about, just be aware that that is something that can happen with this if you take a headphone off your head while the other is on. The battery life on these things is impressive, just make sure you keep it on when you’re using these and turn them off when not in use and you’ll be able to run these things for days without a charge. I wouldn’t recommend this. The headphones also come with a cable so they can be used without being turned on. I have lost my cable that it came with, but this does work and works quite well. All in all, i’d highly recommend this product if you’re a fan of music and want to hear music in the highest quality.

Comfortable, good sound; so-so noise cancellation
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Prior to buying these, I have had numerous other Sennheiser headphones (280, 598, 580) and earbuds as well as some headphones and earbuds from other manufacturers. Most recently I had been using Bose headphones at the gym because I just don't like having a cord between my head and my phone while I'm exercising. The Bose sounded good (better than I expected given my previous experience with Bose), but after a while I found myself getting tired of their excessive upper midrange/treble boost. Given that Sennheiser generally leans towards the neutral - if not warm -- side, I thought I might like the M2 better. In a nutshell, I do like these quite a lot more than the Bose headphones. Are they the best headphones I've ever heard? No. They definitely sound a bit better wired without the noise cancellation on, but I didn't get them for that sort of situation. Even though the noise cancellation and bluetooth technology make the sound signature a bit less detailed and more bright, these still sound quite good. Would I recommend these at their full price if you DON'T need bluetooth or noise cancellation? No. You can get better sounding alternatives for less money. These are quite satisfactory for the gym (as long as you understand that you will sweat onto the earcups so you'll likely need to replace the pads every so often). I can wear these for two hours or so and not feel uncomfortable.

Wow
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're looking for a good headphones that are noise cancelling that connect to multiple bluetooth devices at the same time and the sound is amazing get these headphones. They connect to my TV I can watch TV at the same time they will connect to my phone and if I get a call the phone will automatically take over instead of the TV beats does not do that. I'm not sure who came up with 22 hour battery life but it's more like 60 hours they last forever I feel like I never have to charge them. The only con is that they don't have an app to where you can control them a little bit more

Q: QuestionCan I use these just as a noise cancelling device? No music, TV, movies? Will they work, with a snoring partner for example?
Asked by Elmo.
- A:Answer They cut down on the sound, but aren't going to eliminate it, plus can't imagine sleeping in them, even though they are extremely comfortable. If you aren't concerned with comfort and just looking to block sound, recommend visiting a firearms shop and testing out what they've got.

Q: QuestionAre these headphones support High Resolution like Sony's?
Asked by Katruch74.
- A:Answer I replaced a pair of Sony’s and I liked these much more that the Sony’s. The Sony’s did have a much longer cord. The Sony's were wired and the Sennheeiser are both wired and Bluetooth. The Sony’s cushions fell apart and were difficult to find to replace until recently. I don’t see any wear from the Sennheiser’s at this point.

Q: QuestionWhy is it when I connect to my windows it sounds muddy in the back and when I plug it in with the aux it only plays on one side?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer I'm not sure about the muddy sound but regarding the aux only playing in one ear. It's because you didn't plug it all the way in on the headset. I believe you have to twist and push for it to go all the way in. Check out your manual for instructions. It happened to me too.

Q: QuestionAre these earcups large enough for comfortable use?
Asked by nitgoz.
- A:Answer I find them very comfortable. I have larger than average ears and often find that headphones aren’t the most comfortable, but the way these are cushioned and sharped they are exceptionally comfortable. I recently wore them for the entirety of a six hour flight and had zero discomfort.
