I will try to keep my review short and to the point. Peach Beach Splash is a surprisingly fun game. It is a very easy to pick up and play game, and it has a very silly and fun sense of humor. About the only issues I have with the game is that the story missions can become a little repetitive, and unfortunately it is not always easy to find people to play online matches with. Aside from those issues, Peach Beach Splash is worth picking up.

Which guy doesn't like to play a game with lots of ladies in their bikinis having water gun fights. Okay, I sound a little pervy there. But I like the game. If you want to get 100% achievement, you will have to put at least a 100+ hours into the game. There are many modes to play such as Story, Paradise Epiosdes, and and a Tournament mode. After every match, you get a booster card set. You'll have to grind to collect all the card sets since you have a good chance of getting duplicates. Duplicate cards will automatically be converted into points to use to upgrade the level of each character, their abilities/cards. And there are a lot of characters. Happy Grinding.

This game holds up on its promise of fanservice but what it doesn’t let you in on is that it’s genuinely funny and there are quite a few things to collect so if that’s what you’re into, definitely go for it

Okay just to get this out of the way yes the game is pretty much about fan service. You shot girls in bikini and you can knock there clothing off while keeping it PG 13. However once you get past that the game is very funny, fun and has one of the better shooting mechanics in a game. I bought this on a whim and got more value for my money then expected. After Persona 5 and Horizon I wanted something more light hearted. The game has plenty of modes that allows you to keep playing as well as multiplayer battle. I do wish they would of thrown in some more variety but the game kept me busy for most of November until I finished and I was pleasantly surprised throughout it.

This review is broken into two parts here. In the first, let's presume you know nothing of the game, so let's call this a warning for the parents who may have found this on their teen's birthday list. Secondly, we'll look at the game itself.
For the uninitiated, the Senran Kagura series has been about large scale battles, with one or two scantily clad protagonists fighting off hordes of enemies. During battle, clothes will be lost, and your character has access to a transformation that usually results in an even skimpier outfit being worn while granting stronger powers.
Along with this, new costumes can be purchased, and "private time" with one of the many ladies (the roster is approximately 40 strong) can be had. From dress-up, to posing, to attempting to make the girls blush/ stealing kisses, the whole thing is a mash-up of actual fun gameplay, often with great humor in combination with surprisingly solid drama, with a creepy voyeur (and further) vibe. It's certainly a stark contrast to Western sensibilities and not for our masses.
Onto the game itself- Peach Beach Splash removes the girls from the various ninja schools in their familiar fight settings and takes them to a friendly water gun tournament. Self-awareness reigns here, with questions why the tournament requires bikinis in another example of the humorous writing involved.
The tournament will allow you to play with 4 teammates against another team, with a slew of various water-based weapons and swappable power-up cards. After each game, you'll earn packs of cards that will level up weapons or those power up cards, lending a slight RPG element to the game. Action is fast, with an added "water based propulsion" system, with each girl wearing water "rockets" that can boost your movement speed as well as adding to your jump.
Beyond the single player campaign, which is a pretty lengthy affair, with each of the schools getting their own story, the skirmish mode, unlocks, there is a full online multiplayer mode, as well, so plenty is on offer for those interested.
Overall, a fun game with some replay ability, but it is also intrinsically tied to its titillation and adult nature. If there's hesitation based on the Mature rating, be aware of that fact.

The closest you will get on a splatoon type game on PS4. Choose a character and join the fight with a water gun. That’s right water guns. All types of multiplayer weapons are here in water gun format. Great single player with bots. Several game modes. Online seems to be dead fir a game that is only several months old. Most games you do end up finding are over seas and high pings. Collectors edition includes art book Blu-ray and music cd. Nice extras for the price of a single AAA game.

As an adult male, buying this game causes suspicion. it is hard to show your friends that this game is actually pretty fun (but flawed) without them giving you some sort of an eye. anyways, the game is basically controlling a character in 3rd person mode and shooting water guns. controls are a bit wonky at times but tolerable. graphics are actually very nice. for this deluxe version, you get some extra goodies.

This game is perfect for summer. The only water gun game I know of and the characters all look great. There are many items to use in the game, but some are paid content. Overall a great diversion from the usual shooting.

This isn't the usual hack-and-slash like their normal games. At first, I felt that the content was a but shallow, but the more I played it, I realize how much effort was put into this game, especially in the card collecting aspect.

A bit of a departure from the previous Senran titles, the cooking rhythm games not withstanding, this game is loosely set as a third person shooter, with a really basic melee attack tossed in for close encounters. The premise is typical Senran fare, lite and fun. The gameplay is smooth and the graphics are about the same as Estival Versus. There is added PS VR support for those so inclined, though the mode is only available in the dressing room.

Been somewhat of a fan of this series since it first came to the 3DS. It’s lamded on the Vita and PlayStation consoles as well. This time it’s a 3rd person shooter. It works well enough. You get a lot of fan service. That aside it’s like a anime series in its own right. There’s a story mode as well as online multiplayer; though the lobbies seem bare as not many have this game. Call of duty this is not. Overall it’s a fun take with the franchise. Definitely get that Splatoon vibe.

I played the same titles in the series on the vita and let's face it you're not buying this for the in-depth strategic gameplay. It's fun as long as you accept it for what it is.
