I work in accounting and usually have a lot of client receipts and statements to shred. I burned through about a shredder every other year, lucky for shredder makers. Pros: Heavy duty, feels solid The handle is great when the shred container is full The crisscross output meets security needs One person office doesn't require constant emptying Not one paper jam so far! Cons: Kinda loud, not awful, but not quiet either It's heavier than you'd think Doesn't have wheels, but I put it on a rolling plant stand On 8/22/21 so far so good!

I really like this shredder! Thinking of getting another one in fact. It is very inexpensive and works well. I’m not one to fuss about how many sheets at a time I can feed into it. And I don’t know if it can do as many sheets at a time as it claims. I usually don’t feed more than 4 or 5 at a time anyway. What I mostly like about it is the slot feeds easily and it doesn’t have a pull out drawer to empty it. To empty it you just unplug, lift the shredder top out and empty the bin. It also will allow you to compress the shreds down when the bin gets toward full. Then you can shred more before you have to empty. For as inexpensive as it is, I think it is far better than any shredder I’ve ever owned prior to this.

Purchased on line in midst of virus "lockdown." When it arrived, it was missing a very important part - the power cord! Was also missing the owner manual. Called the Best Buy 800 number, but hold time was more than 1 hour. So I improvised. Had a power cord to a portable radio that fit the shredder & used that. Having had a shredder in the past, the lack of an owners manual was somewhat minor. So I plugged it in & so far this shredder is meeting my expectations. Have used it several times, since I have lots of paper (old bills, insurance docs, etc) that need disposal & it's doing the job. Like the handle since it makes it easy to separate the shredder from the bin to empty the bin. The plunger part helps to compact the contents of the bin as well. I also bought the bin liners & lubricant paper. The bin liners are great. Even though I didn't have a user manual, I was able to register the purchase with the manufacturer. I advised them that there was no power cord, but never received a response. Maybe you have to buy the power cord separately?? I'd recommend this shredder as long as it has the power cord included!

Have used it a couple times--yes, it does sound really angry when it is chewing paper and other stuff, but not enough to scare my cat. (that's why the 4 stars) I have tried it on plastic cards, unopened stuffed envelopes, and copious amount of paper. Produces great results. Very glad to have it as tax season approaches.

It shredded many sheets of different thicknesses fairly well. The motor is strong and could shred for about 20 minutes before needing to cool down for at least 1 hour. Shredder lifts easily to empty the bin. Easy to see the level of shredded material in the bin. Tried to shred one credit card but stopped halfway. I reversed it, then went forward again and it finished the task, however it won’t accept anything in the middle anymore. It appears the plastic guides have bent inward blocking anything. It still shreds on the sides. Not sure if I messed up or if the shredder should have handled the credit card better since it is rated as being able to shred Credit cards.

This is not a terribly sophisticated piece of machinery, because it doesn't need to be, and it does the job. I didn't bother to read the instructions, and it's easy and intuitive to use. The only caveat is, it's noisy. But then again, how often does one shred anyway? Now my personal medical info from insurers doesn't blow down the street when the gleaners come and go through my blue recycle bin on trash pickup day.

I bought this shredder to replace a wore out one. You cannot continously shred over 20 minutes. It does shreds cards (I don't think I seen that when searching for a shredder) which I was pleased. It's ok for the price. I would upgrade to another one that I can do continuous shredding. I Like that it zigzag to small pieces.

I was a little disappointed by the size of the shredder basket when it arrived, though I knew from the description that it was going to be smaller than my old one. The cost of a decent shredder now seems to be much higher than it used to be a few years ago. But this shredder works ok, you just have to be careful that the cutter is placed correctly atop the basket.

This shredder is perfect for small jobs. I found when I shredded large amounts of paper, it overheated.

This works very well. I am cleaning out old bank statements that had the account printed on them as well as other statements I didn't want to just trash. However, I wish the opening was another inch or so wider. The paper has to go in straight up and down, the opening is maybe 9 inches wide. Also, 3 pages is about all I will do, I doubt it will do 12.

This shredder works great for light jobs but in dealing with a bunch of documents with even only feeding a few pages at a time, overheats and stops thus having to allow it to cool down for about 30 mins before it will start working again.

This shredder not only crosscuts paper but crosscuts plastic cards. It is easy to use. The shredder itself is heavy. But, it needs to be in order to handle a number of sheets at a time.

This is a simple and powerful paper shredder. It quickly cross-cuts credit cards and multiple sheets of paper. The heavy engine-head moves down to help compact the shreddings. The only con is that the paper feed is a bit picky.

I like that the shredded can do any kind of paper very fast.

Replacement for one that stopped working... light weight but seems to do the job.. easy to empty.... cuts 3 papers at a time... happy with purchase

It is sturdy and powerful if your looking for sleek and attractive this is not for you it does a good job of shredding paper for the price if you’re on a budget then this is for you

Its ok, does what it says. I do think it is a little under powered. We purchased this to replace an old shredder that broke so we had a reasonable amount to shred but it kept overheating and we had to wait until it cooled down So ok for small quanties

This shredder is definitely very capable and will shred almost anything you throw at it. The only gripes with it are that sometimes the sensor is touchy when positioning the actual shredder on top of the basket. The handles do it make it very convenient to move around and that’s what sold me on it but I do think I prefer the traditional setup of a different shredder, week however see how long this lasts in terms of durability

I got this on a deal of the day special. Glad i did pay more for it. Does the job but does shutoff if it starts to overheat.

Great product for your everyday shredding duties. A little on the noisy side but not too bad .
