Definitely worth it, I work from home and always have to shred and the little one was annoying having to empty it out so often. This one I use a garbage bag 13 lbs and works with thick paper, i can throw a lot of paper in at the same time... gotten stuck at times but thats my fault where I pushed it and put in like 35 papers at once lol. But love it love it love it

I had a lot of old mail i needed to get rid of and lately have been buried in political ads. This shredder handles it all with ease. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to get rid of excess papers.

Strong shredder

I don't count the sheets but it adequately handles a thick stack plus staples. I can quickly keep up with my shredding back log. It also can accommodate a reasonably sized garbage bag. Did not need to buy special size.

Broke after less than two months of light use

Then the unit just stopped working after less than two months of light use. I have to pay to send it back to the manufacturer so they can send me a replacement. Aside from the inconvenience and cost of shipping something so large and heavy, I don't have high confidence that the new one will last very long.
