Defective and so annoying

I ordered this sofa and it arrived pretty quickly. It was easy to put together until at the end when we realized the feet did not come with it. I called the manufacturer, was on hold for ever waiting to speak to someone (over 1.5 hours) only to be informed that they do not stock parts for this sofa. Contacted Best Buy customer service via live chat, the representative that I spoke to assured me (despite me knowing it couldn't possibly be the case) that I could just go to Best Buy store and they had feet they could give me. So a trip to the store proved they do NOT keep couch feet in stock and was a big waste of time. Ultimately I ended up ordering another couch and guess what?? It also came WITH NO FEET! How is this possible?!? This has been INCREDIBLY frustrating and a huge waste of time. Ultimately I spent an additional $40 ordering feet from amazon just to be done with all this and returned the second footless couch to the store. Super annoying situation.

We received the couch without legs. Contacted Best Buy, they immediately tried to contact their vendor while we were on the phone. Best Buy was not able to contact the vendor so they credited us 10% of the purchase price so we were able to purchase legs elsewhere. The couch has storage under the cushions and the pistons used to support the lid were installed with tiny screws. One end of each piston had the screws pulled out of the wood and one piston did not function, so we just removed the pistons. The cushions are held in place with a velcro strip that is under the front of the cushion on the bottom parallel to the front of the couch. When you sit on the cushions they slide forward and overhang the edge of the frame, which is quite uncomfortable and also looks a little shabby. The rear cushions look like over stuffed pillows. In the picture the cushions all look like they are sturdy with clean lines, but after sitting on it that is not the case. We are able to make it look somewhat like the picture after each use, but I find it very uncomfortable and disappointing. We thought it would be good quality because it says Serta, but that is not the case with this couch. We were going to get the love seat but we opted for 2 chairs instead.
