Decent couch, smaller then listed

Got this couch today, it says its 61", even the box says 61". After putting together, it looked smaller then my previous couch. After measuring it, its actually little under 57".
Unforutnally its too big to return to store but poeple should deff know it is NOT 61".
Relatively easy to put together. The cushions are a little more firm then i was hoping for after reading reviews htey are soft, so hoping after a couple days they will soften up
